  1. Yes. Do a search for the string: "breech face erosion" https://forums.brianenos.com/search/?&q="breech face erosion"&search_and_or=or
  2. Closed in favor of the existing thread topic/285369-well-looks-like-mark-7-lyman-have-some-new-competition-excited-to-see-what-this-brings-about-dillon-buys-ammobot/?tab=comments#comment-3178706
  3. By not really I mean that I do not consider taking the initial set "wear". The spring is doing what it was designed to do. When it gets a bunch shorter and maraca happens, that's what I consider wear. Later...
  4. Not really. A new spring will take a set the first (few) time(s) you use it.Then it will wear from cycles of use. This is what I have seen over the years and has been explained to me by a guy who makes magazine springs and an automotive engineer who designed compression springs.
  5. Ahh! Thanks! I thing your big fear should be zero pressure. ETA: Oh yeah, the thread: During the last 3.5 years, I have heard exactly nobody suggest SRP for PCC. Now if that is all you can get, give it a try but you may have light strikes.
  6. Just curious: Who or what is "Percussion Bullets"?
  7. There used to be a summary of the number of classifications per division and class on the USPSA website before the major overhaul. Since the update, it has been absent.
  8. From the Area 2 Director on FB: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON AREA 2 CHAMPIONSHIPS Hello fellow shooters, As many of you may know, Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club manages Usery Mountain Shooting Range, which is a government-owned facility. As such, we are obligated to follow all state and federal government recommendations and restrictions, particularly as they pertain to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Due to a multitude of variables that are beyond our control, we have come to the difficult conclusion that we are unable to host the match this year. We are all just as disappointed as you to have to make this decision but we feel that the future is too uncertain and that this is the most responsible decision we can make for both Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club as well as our shooters. Barring the unexpected, the Area 2 Championship will be back better than ever at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club in 2021! There is a silver lining, however; Frank Barbaro and the staff at Prescott Action Shooters have stepped up and will host this year’s Area 2 Championship at their private range. Many of you are familiar with their facility as this is where the Northern Arizona Classic is held each year. This has been a collaborative effort between us, Leighton Oosthuisen, our Area 2 Director, and the staff in Prescott and we will continue to do all we can to ensure a successful match this year. The Prescott Action Shooters staff does a great job each year with the NAZC and we are confident that the Area 2 Championship at their facility will be no different. We know there will be many questions, especially from those who are already registered. Stay tuned because all the details will be made public very soon. What we can tell you right now is that the match will be held November 5th through the 8th. Competitors will have the option of shooting on the 5th/6th or on the 7th/8th. Shooters who are currently registered for the Area 2 Championship will be refunded and there will be a new registration page on Practiscore for the match in Prescott. Shooters who are currently in the match will be contacted soon regarding their refunds. More details about the match and registration will be coming soon and we will do our best to push that information out to everyone as quickly as possible. We do apologize for any inconvenience and hope that everyone will understand the extraordinary circumstances that we currently face. We also would like to thank Frank Barbaro and the Prescott Action Shooters staff, as well as Leighton Oosthuisen, for their efforts in making sure that the show does go on this year. Sincerely, The Area 2 Championship Staff at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club
  9. I did the same thing but with just with a lowly shop towel. It works fine!
  10. Just scan the previous posts in this thread. There is discussion about not decapping before wet tumbling
  11. Welcome to the forum! Well, I just finished loading my mags for tomorrow's match. One less thing to screw up in the morning mental fog! And if you are worried about springs, they wear from mechanical cycles, not sitting under static loads. Have at it and good luck! Later, Chuck
  12. I used the same setup until I got my bullet feeder. But, I kept the fail safe rod even after the fartknocker mod. The reason is that the press ran easier with only one spring on the PM. Try it.
  13. Not according to the OP.
  14. OK, this has gone south quickly. I hid quite a few posts. This thread is closed and the backstory is not welcome on the Enos forums.
