  1. Uh, guys, the second picture in my above post was just something I found on the net to show the OP what kind of picture would help us understand his problem. He has not replied yet
  2. See if you can take a picture that shows the cartridge and the feed ramp like this one:
  3. Natchez has Federal Premium Champion Centerfire Primers Mag Small Pistol just now...
  4. Yeah, I buy a quart of Mobile 1 every decade or so.
  5. Nothing useful in this thread for a competitive shooting forum. Closed...
  6. Since it was 9/11 today, the club decided to do something special. They arranged for the Young Marines to march in the Colors and present them for the National Anthem. It was a somewhat somber occasion but what really struck me was that the Color Guard were not born yet and still did a great and respectful job with the ceremony. Well done! The photo is the Color Guard with our squad for the day. Remember...
  7. From the Dillon forum https://www.dillonprecision.com/power-coating-press_350_12_1386.htm RE: POWER COATING PRESS? January 9th, 2012 at 7:36am The earliest RL1050s were electroless nickel plated. After we found some lubricants caused the nickel in the crank to peel, we changed to a parkerized finish. Powder coating would be fine, except for the top of the frame where the shellplate rides. Thicknesses in powder coating are too viriable for that location.

  9. Judging by who the stage designer is, you are likely spot on with this!
  10. Take a few of the heavy, mid and light rounds and go shoot them. If you don't see a difference in group size and POI, go worry about something else.
  11. As of now, they seem to have 227 or 232 slots filled. There are still 10 days to go. It seems like they are meeting their goals. That said, my last 2 7-stage level 1 matches were 215 and 202 rounds respectively.

  13. Locked: "• If your hate rant has to do with shooting then it needs to be directed towards yourself."
  14. In this case, I would contact the Area Director to see if they support this.
  15. I have seen this very call at either Area 1 or the High Cap nats. If you are using backer targets, use them correctly. And if you are using USPSA targets, cut off the head on the backer target.
  16. Brownells is showing inventory for CCI SP primers just now...
  17. This thread is almost 3 years old so some of the info will be out of date. You may want to check here: https://scsa.org/classification
  18. I used to shoot Paras that had the same sort of curved trigger guard. I tried Ghost and DAA Racemaster and CR Speed with mixed results. The DAA has a "1911" insert that might work. For the DAA, the fore and aft thickness of the trigger guard is critical. Saul actually sent me a couple under cut trigger inserts that I had to custom fit. And to make matters worse, I had 2 guns with different F&A thicknesses! Ghost worked but the nylon spacer screws had to be just right or the thing would wiggle around. And they wore quickly. The CR Speed holster with the muzzle platform was stable but you could still pull through the lock if you really tried. My advice for multigun: Use a pouch holster and you won't have to worry about it! Good luck, Chuck
  19. This forum is just fine for this sort of thing. PM a mod/admin with the user name and it will be dealt with. You can PM me now if you wish.
