  1. My zero kept shifting on my Savage .223. I decided to take off the scope to see what was wrong and found both rear mount screws broken off. I got out one of the screws out but the other is flush with the rifle base. I know it has blue loctite but I can heat it to melt it away. What do I do to get the screw out?? I would normally think drill it and use an ez out screw extractor but the diameter of the screw is so small I don't think it will drill. I know someone has had this problem before. Please advise what I need to do to get the screw out without gun damage. Thanks
  2. I just switched over my 550B from loading 45 acp to loading 45 colt and had a surprise. When the powder assembly was attached to the powder measure die for the 45 acp the assembly would not rotate once the two bolts were tightened. When the powder assembly was attached to the powder measure die for the 45 colt the assembly will rotate once the two bolts were tightened regardless of how tight the bolts are. The 45 acp powder measure die mikes out about .007" diameter more than the powder measure die I have for the 45 colt. I know I could use the same powder measure die for both loads but I don't want to lose the bell adjustment I have established for the 45 acp. Loading the 45 colt the powder assembly rotates on the powder measure die and is only restrained by the failsafe rod that attaches the powder measure to the failsafe return bracket. Is this an issue that can negatively affect my powder dispensing or create other problems??? Anyone else have this condition??
  3. When loading 45 acp I must tip cartridge towards me or else the case will not enter the carbide die. It doesn't matter whether I have any cases in the other three stations or not. The case will butt into bottom of die unless I manually position it with my finger. If I continue the stroke without the manually positioning the case just gets crushed. My other dillon presses do not have this issue when loading with the same dies. The paperclip springy thing is set to hold case properly. Please advise what I need to do to resolve this issue.
  4. I broke the fail safe rod shoulder washer during re-install process. I take the fail safe rod off each time I dump the powder measure since I then pull pins and turn upside down the die station. The washer just looks like a nylon shoulder washer. Does anyone know what washer number I need so I can get a pack without going to dillon for just one??
  5. What is the simplist process to remove the rod from the bellcrank or the return bracket to allow pulling pins from toolhead in order to dump powder by removing toolhead??
