  1. hi I am as well. I have 3 operating rl1000 and 1 parts machine. As you have seen very few parts available. There is a guy on eBay that is a machinist that has started making some small parts but few. I have made most of my own and some I have specked out to a local machine shop. But most of the time I make what I need in house. These have become kind of like an old piece of equipment. Hard to sometimes find parts for but usually better in the end than any new machine. One machine I have had over 750k rnds of 223 documented thru it and it still loads better than my rl1050. Good luck in your search.
  2. I had great luck with sns. Ran many of them and not any problems. Actually picked up velocity over jacketed.
  3. Good point on the extended firing pin. That’s what I run as well. I only run rifle primers at major pf. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Never brush the bore of any barrels. Only ones I deep clean are rifles that sit except for deer season. I feel if you use them regular they stay clean. I had this debate years ago. Me and a friend both shot production with xdm 5.25. Both had same about of rounds down the barrel. I shot lubed lead he shot jacketed. I never cleaned mine he scrubbed his after every match. When pulled down mine was shiny his was dirty. I’ve never looked back since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’m on several forums and almost all of them are free for everything. But they all have ads throughout. I would like to see banner adds as a first option. I really don’t see how this platform hasn’t been used as a billboard to sell adds for big businesses yet. Assuming those options don’t fit the bill I’d rather have a annual fee for the whole forum access. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That's perfect! Sounds like I'm gonna be ordering an Everglades here soon! Sounds to be an excellent holster. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Ok thnks. The only time my draw needs a slight scooping is on steel challenge I do a little bit different draw for that. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. On the Everglades holster can it be drawn straight forward or does it have draw vertical? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. I've bought a cr speed to try but I've adjusted it and it does ok but when holstered just doesnt feel as secure as I'd like it to be. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. That Everglades is looking real nice. I'd like to try one. I like the way my limcat draws but I would like it to have a little more retention. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. I'll see if I can get a pic of mine for you. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. Yes that's what I ran into. I chucked mine in the lathe and beveled it like the dillon dies and it's been flawless now. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. I've got the Redding on a RL1000 and it's been great. It's been very accurate and fast to adjust. Only thing I did was bevel the opening to help the bullets line up when seating for higher speed. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. Hi I've been running an older limcat holster for several years but am leary of being aggressive with it for fear of bumping it out. What holsters is everybody running? I tried a cr speed and didnt really like it. I had thought about adding a magnet to mine to add a little retention. Thnks. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  15. That would be 6 volts if they are 3v each. Idk about that particular sight but I have had a few long talks with streamlight about their led technology. And they said their electronics can safely live on 36vdc but only normally run 3.6vdc. Now that is max capability but I'd say most well built circuits can handle some over volts without problems. My only concern would be heat. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  16. This one is 14"OD. What I really like about it is all I have to do is adjust the fingers to change calibers and bullets i ran over 1500 SNS 115grn all at once without a single misfeed or flipped bullet. Very impressed. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  17. I bought mine used from a friend selling out his ammo loading business. He used this one to feed his ammoload and lubrisizers for his cast lead bullets. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  18. I just bought a MA bullet feeder! Absolutely the best I've seen and fully adjustable. Worth every penny for sure. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  19. Any local machine shop with a lathe can do it I used my own lathe and did it at home it 15 min. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  20. Yes I agree 100% Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  21. I've got the micrometer now on a dillon 1000 and had to machine the seater part of the die to better contour my bullets and I chamfered the die opening a touch and way better now! No issues for several 10k rounds now. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  22. Depends on how much you shoot the gun. I had mine down to 11oz at one time it's back up to a touch over 1lb. I like light triggers though. Ymmv Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  23. I'm gonna have to check into that cheeky e2 aluminum grip. Has anybody had problems with them cracking or anything? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  24. I think that would be awesome but to my knowledge there isnt one out yet. Wish there was. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  25. I dont really vary much for mine but this summer I just now finally tuned my load and gun together.i was running 8.7 grns under a 115 and 177-178pf. I tuned down some. Ended around 8.2. I'm in southeast mo. What is the average max deviation ppl are seeing from dead of winter to middle of summer on average on their loads? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
