Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I too have to break my grip with my 34 to get enough finger on the trigger. I just throw the larger back straps in a draw when I buy a gen 4 Glock.....
  2. Here you go: http://www.gsiinternational.com/300-Blackout-650-Toolhead_8_4243_8649.html You can use it with any trim die.

No, they are not using the Tenifer process anymore due to EPA not allowing it in the USA. Very environment unfriendly.
  4. I have had my 550 since 1996 and still going strong. Just one great press!
  5. In my garage, but it is heated and air conditioned...... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I have G22, G27, G34, and G35 and use Dillion 9mm and 40SW dies with my 550 and have not had one issue with "glock brass". I just make sure my re-sizing die is all the way down and no issues. I have loaded thousands of 9mm and 40SW wiith mixed brass without any problems.
  7. I would not take the risk, use a bullet puller and disassemble the round(s) save the components start again.....
  8. Austin, You are very close to my current set-up and load which is: Tumble brass for about four hours. Lube all brass (I use Oneshot) Prep Head (Dillon 550b): 1 - Dillon resize and De-cap Die set to 90 percent resize. 3 - Dillon RT1200 to finish resize and trim. Tumble to get lube off - About an hour Run all brass through my Dillon 600 swage Load Tool Head (Dillon 550b): 1 - Universal De-cap (Dillon) Die - Same as you to clean out tumble media 2 - Powder 3 - Seat (Dillon) 4 - Crimp (Dillon) I do put the smallest of crimps, just kisses the case... My current load is very close to yours: Brass is trimmed to 1.749" Mixed Brass Federal 205 primers Privi MIL-SPEC 22CAL 55GR FMJBT M193 Bullets 25 g of Hodgdon CFE223 2.220" OAL So we are very close in our procedures and as you said there are many ways to reload 223, but the above works for me...... If prices continue to drop on 223 ammo, I will have to think if reloading 223 is worth the time it takes to reload. It takes twice as long to load 223 as it does any pistol round, or at least for me. Jim
  9. I also use Titegroup because it works well in my guns and also because I have have 8 pounds of it. Hard to try something else when you can't find anything else in stock.......
  10. same with me...but I did change. using BE tip of masking taope over the left eye, while shooting, made the right eye muscles take over the job of focusing. Try transparent tape over your left eye. Use it during dry fire, practice and go to a few matches. Before you know it, you will be using your right eye to focus. It only takes a few weeks. Thanks Kimbercp, I will give it a try, but it's hard to teach us old dogs new tricks..... : )
  11. I shoot right handed but I am left eye dominate. I have tried to shoot handguns both eyes open for 30 years. I just can not do it... I wish I could!
