Lengthened the forcing cone, welded lifter, loading port opened up, and a trigger job. Very happy with everything, trigger job was excellent.

Saw the post a little late. I sent mine to jeff at c-rums and he did everything you mentioned minus the sights but I didn't ask for those. Couldn't be more pleased with his work.

I'm not answering your question but I am wondering the same thing. Mine has ran since day one and I've had it for about a year now. I probably have just under a thousand rounds through mine. Even though mine runs the allure of the Benelli is still there. So maybe people just trash it to help make their choice for the Benelli easier.

I have been thinking about 340 lately. What are some loads for 124's or 147's with it?

Never shot Bayous but I have no complaints about BBI. Accurate and very clean in my 34. Have the 147's loaded out to 1.14 right now but have shot them both longer and shorter. Only way I can imagine Bayous being better is that they are a little cheaper. I do know BBI has in stock items but last I checked Bayou doesn't. Maybe that has changed.

Doesn't JP have a barrel break in procedure in their owner's manual?

Mark, what kind of malfunctions were you seeing. Mine hasn't burped on me....yet. Do you think they were true issues with the gun or maybe more operator error? Thanks, Dan

I fully understood that when I ordered the upper I would be waiting for a long time. Their posted lead time is 6-10 weeks but from reading other posts about other companies I knew it would be even longer and I was fine with that. The thing that concerned me was that some of those comments sounded like people had some info, true or false I don't know, that the company was in trouble. I have no idea, that's why I came here to try to substantiate some of those concerns. I know there are shooters here that have been or are currently sponsored by them so maybe they know something to put my fears to rest. Also, I read the link that you posted and in early October they posted that all calls would be returned within 24 hours. Towards the end of the thread, posted in December, somebody posted that they haven't been contacted in three weeks, by email or phone. This is not a post about some dude whining that their gun or part isn't here yet. This is a post about a customer hearing rumors that their chosen vendor might be possibly going out of business and my card has already been charged. I sincerely hope that this is not true as I really want their upper.

3 gungeezer, I have the mp-153 that I bought for my entry into 3 gun. What are your.thoughts on the lifter? My weak hand load is not very good but it seems to load a lot slower than a benelli. Also, did you use the Arredondo bolt release for the m2? Also, I bought a Nordic 870 extension and it fits perfect. Dan

Hey everybody, I am a 3-gunner on a budget. As such, I bought a Baikal MP153 semi-auto about 3 months ago and while it is no Benelli, it shoots just fine. It has a HiViz front sight and a Nordic extension on it now. My question is, do any of the knowledgeable folks here know if a DIW easyloader would fit or can be fitted to the Baikal? Remington used to import the Baikal under their name as the SPR 453 and I have heard that Remington tube extensions will work on it so I was hoping a easyloader for a Remington could be fitted to it. Or is this gun just not that popular and nobody knows? Thanks for the help. Dan
