  1. It just got in stock, mine will be here hopefully before this weekend. And should be available to order from your athlon dealer. If you don't have an athlon dealer near you, you can order direct from them or they will get you in contact with a dealer.
  2. It retails for under that. And the new reticle is in stock.
  3. It may be mag related. I havent shot it enough to know which mags it does it with yet. I wonder if running sti mags with an svi mag catch has anything to do with it? Its one of the old style ones, so i wouldn't think that was it.
  4. I got a used svi. I'm shooting the same mags i was running in my sti build. Occasionally I'm getting an unfired bullet in front of the extractor, after it ejects the fired round. Any ideas where to start?
  5. Its a 2007. So I'd say its older. I'm guessing it would take a regular sti grip? It has a plastic svi grip on it right now.
  6. I order direct from svi, my problem was i wanted to buy a signature grip from them, then have them fit it, then refinish the whole gun. They weren't interested in doing it, they just wanted sell a grip. So i got my panties in a wad over that, now I'm trying to decide if i want to put an evo grip on it. I can fit it myself, but was thinking an all sv gun would be worth more.
  7. I do have an svi, but they dont have the aggressive grip in stock. And i was a little disappointed in svi's response to a request.
  8. I'm looking at metal grips. Speedshooters lists svi grips for svi pistols and grips for sti pistols. Or would an evo fit an svi frame? Does anyone know what the difference is?
  9. Patriot cases is where it's at. His foam is hands down better.
  10. 2007. Which is kind of surprising, it has a sight tracker, a rail, and aet barrel. A lot of more modern features for a 10 year old gun.
  11. I've heard many good things about them, they must be covered up with builds. Still unexpected.
  12. Factory built gun. Its not really a big deal, I'll just fit it myself and send it to h&m. I was just trying to think of not hurting the value of the gun.
  13. I did. They even looked up the serial #. Told me when it was made.
  14. I can do it myself. The point was to have svi do it, and svi finish it. That way it was all factory done.
  15. It was, because i was like I'm gonna buy a grip at 800 from you and pay you to refinish a factory built gun. she's like nope, we're not offering that service.
  16. I'm trying to get them to make something happen. It's not critical to me personally that it be razor bright, but it definitely needs to be brighter.
  17. The drops on reticle are awesome, couple that with the mid range holds, it's really awesome. The bracketing works very quickly and even on smaller than 3 moa targets, you naturally center it automatically.
  18. I recently acquired a used svi in 9mm. I want to put a metal grip on it. I wanted to put a signature grip on it be exact. I call svi ask if i sent the gun in and buy the grip from them, would they fit it, then re finish the whole pistol with the grip. The girl on the phone said they don't offer that service. Does this seem normal or did i just talk to the wrong person?
  19. Josh and Matt take good care of their customers. When i decide to start shooting cheater division, it'll probably be with one of their guns.
  20. I wanted to post a quick review on a new 3 gun scope from a newer optics company. I was able to get a prototype of the new 3 gun reticle from athlon. Its based on a 200 yard zero, 68-69gr bullet, going 2750, and 3 moa targets. All of which are very common in 3 gun. Instead of crosshairs you bracket the target in the opening. The mid distance holds are 3 moa as well, and you use the vertical part of the stadia for that. It works very well and is very fast and intuitive. It also has 5 mph wind holds at each distance. The glass is flat, and bright. no fisheye. Compared to my swaro, i lost about 2 feet of fov at 100 yards. On the prototype the illumination isn't daylight bright. Hopefully they can remedy that in the production models. This scope will retail under $500, and is feature packed and a good value, with the glass and reticle, it's a winner! https://www.dropbox.com/s/fzjke7vigdbumtc/received_1931087050453501.jpeg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/qq10w3xz1yi8lku/20170208_203014.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfmvo13e0y0z2qx/Screenshot_20170210-110418.png?dl=0
