  1. This and a set of Dawson's.
  2. So I have around 550 rounds out on a 4.25 model, and it has been 100% to this point. I even tried some old gen 1 sti mags from a 38 super open gun build from 2002 and it ran fine. Yes the feel of the trigger and a few other parts is not up to SV level, but COME ON! This is an entry level 2011! Also got a tracking number for the optic plate.
  3. It got up to 30 degrees last weekend!! Got out and ran a few mags. Just need to say this is the first PCC I've shot. 1 more recoil than I hoped for, not bad but it is a little heavy. Not one hick up, ran fine, going to try to get out this weekend, but weather sucks!!!!
  4. No, it's a true PCC lower. Factory Mags are Metalform, from what I could find metalform has from day one made the mags for the Colt.
  5. Well I bought one, not sure how soon I'll be able to shoot it, weather in my area is going to be in the flat nasty range for a while. I've never tried PCC so will more than like try it next fall, plus that will give me a chance to play with it and figure out sights and any other things to put on it. The SMG colt mags don't bother me, yes I'm a Glock guy, but the double stack, double feed SMG has been around a long time and the Metalform mag from Springfield are 32 bucks, not much more than 33 round Glock mags in my area. My hope is Springfield didn't rush this out and it will run.
  6. Good to know, I've been going down a rabbit hole thinking should I just try to fit a staccato grip and and make a bastard child or wait out the market.
  7. Blue box Win SPP is all I've used for years. Stock Glock striker and 4.5# striker spring.
  8. Compete with a 17 and carry the same gun.
  9. Also would like to find a mag well and play in A fudgecicle nobody but a few crayon chewers and winder likkers want.
  10. Sprinfield shows the RMR/SRO plate out of stock, I ordered for a delta point cause I have an extra. Hope they start shipping.

    WTH Glock sights

Copy, I'm not normal. All the Glocks I've had I shoot better with the stock sights, just wondering if anyone other than myself has the same experience. I did put some TTI sights on my G3 19 and do shoot it well, but I have a G4 and G3 34 with Dawson's and shot them better with the stock sights, but the funny thing is I prefer the sight picture with the Dawson sights.

    WTH Glock sights

It was snowing so I was shooting at 25 yards from under cover, but you're right stepping is the best way to get humbled.

    WTH Glock sights

With all the Oregon BS a picked up a gen 5 mos 34, took it out today and put 100 round through it and with the stupid stock sights I didn't miss. I mean anything I tried to hit I did, this thing was literally a laser beam, anything I pointed at It hit. The thing is I have shot Glocks for awhile and this is the first time I was able just take a stock glock and hit anything I pointed it at. Even at what I like to thing is speed I was hitting over and over again. Are the stock Glock sights really that bad?
  14. I like Gen3 glocks, other than the grip texture and mag release, the 34 release after some shaping isn't bad. Never like Gen 4 but for some reason like Gen 5.
  15. Just picked up a 4.25 yesterday cleaned it up and oiled it up with Lucas oil and hit the range. Put 300 round through today, 100 rounds 115gr Win white box, 50 rounds Rem 124gr, 50 rounds Fed 150gr action pistol, 25 rounds Hornady 124+p XTP, and the rest handloads made up for my Gen 5 17 CO gun. Using the supplied 17 and 20 round mags It ran like a top. I'm with you on the trigger being so so, but for now I'm fine with it, after shooting glocks for so long it will be just fine. As far as mags go and have some more 17 and 20s ordered and for you Staccatto guy a shooting buddy shoots a P and has been running the Springer duramags with TTI base and spring kit and is getting 22+1 with no problems.
  16. What platform? I run 3.9 in a Sig X5 with a 125 Gallant, gets me about 135 power factor and runs about 132 in a gen 5 Glock 17.

    DPP to X5

Working fine for me. Not sure on round count but guessing 8-10k.
  18. Range Panda is the way to go, good dude and good product.

    320 Mags

    Correct miss type.

    320 Mags

21 rounders with Taran plus 2, two of them get me 23 re loadable and one gets 24. The tubes I have with the base fit the gauge at the last two area matches I attended.
  21. I like a light on the 17, on a 34 I don't notice any difference. I've also found for me that I can draw from a Safariland 6354 as fast as most so called gun bucket holsters.
  22. Still have one, was my first USPSA limited gun. Your correct in it's time it was really not a bad gun, and the price point helped start the addiction.
  23. I've shot a 34.5, 17.5 and 19.5 in matches. I ended up shooting the 17 more than the others. The 19 for me is the most accurate of the three, but the snappier one, granted it's stock and my EDC. I like the way the 17 transitions better than the 34, ran both stainless rod 13#, 3.5 connector, 4.5# striker spring, CH brass speed feed, and have played with a TRL1-HL, like it on the 17, and a delta point 6moa on a CH plate cause the stock plates blow. Best way to figure it out is get both or all three. I'm coming back to Glock after a year long affair with a 320 X5 legion, something about glock, if you figure out how to shoot them it's hard to leave them for to long.
