Yeah, and I shot a match that was pouring rain, target heads drooping down almost invisible. Targets covered in sopping wet plastic bags.
Shot it and had fun.
I think I will write a letter and ask why they cant stop the rain. It really isn't fair.
There are guys that shoot classifiers over and over and over all day until they get 100% scores or more.
Being new... I have never practiced a classifier. But it seems pretty obvious to me, that those who practice them will drive the scores up over time.
Just go shoot.
So hf goes up on older classifiers that some people have had a long time to practice and get better at?
Woah. Earthshattering. I think I will write a letter.
New guy here....
What does it matter about the hhf stuff?
Shoot faster , more accurately, and we will move up, no?
And oh... utah isn't on the west coast either.
Seems like people just need something to complain about. Everyone needs a cause.
Man, I grew up in AZ and shot at the public rifle range with my pops at rio salado. I wish i would have known about the cool pistol stuff you guys were doing. I missed out being so close and yet so far away from it.
Just now joined uspsa and shooting matches.
But I live in rainy WA now.
I do remember one time shooting a glock gssf shoot at rio salado around 1999 or 2000....guy in front of me SMOKES the plates faster than I knew was possible...
Saw it was none other than Rob Leatham (I had recognized name from somewhere...magazine?)
I couldnt believe I was shooting the same thing as you, albeit slower and crappier.
Just got done with class. Nampa range was great. Nampa guys and gals were friendly and good shooters.
Ben was crazy to watch at first. I thought I was a good shot before I got there, but I just didn't know how to do the moving and all the uspsa stuff. I quickly saw that I was not as good as I thought. He is so damn fast and accurate.
I learned a lot there... but mainly what I learned iswhat I need to practice and how I need to practice it.
Gotta give thanks to B.S and the Nampa crew for their patience and hospitality with me. See you all when I make GM.
