  1. I haven't been able to find WSF and bought some CFE pistol. Let me know what you work up for it.
  2. I like WSF but haven't seen it in stock anywhere for quite a while.
  3. Doesn't the dillon one also cost four times as much?
  4. Troy McManus mentioned this in the thread on the doodie Facebook post, but it's buried where I can't find it. Basically video can't be used in arbitrations, but it can be used by the BOD in a discipline issue like this. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  5. I've been thinking of moving to a dillon of hornady and wondering how often primers found a way to flip when being loaded. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  6. Easy decision for the top shooters. If the vast majority of your shots are alphas then there is no downside to scoring minor.
  7. Revolvers - major or minor isn't the most likely gun to win the one that starts in Miculek's holster?
  8. Whatever is close by and you have the gear for. You'll find helpful people anywhere. With the guns you named, IDPA would definitely be doable, just be sure to have 3 mags.
  9. Just curious, is it legal to have a self start like 3 gun nation stages in USPSA
  10. He shoots the m&p 9mm in Production? I do not think that is allowed. I was looking through the rules and believe i read that a barrel can be changed but it has to be the same caliber, you cannot change calibers. Would hate to see him get DQ'd.Woildnt be a DQ, just a trip to open. Minor. Without a dot. Or a comp.
  11. The logic would probably be that of they fired a shot that way they would be penalized for being outside the shooting area, therefore one foot outside the shooting area satisfies the stage description of the starting position. Stage description should say starting with both feet outside of the shooting area to solve the problem if that is what was intended.
  12. Duh, didn't think of just trying to order directly from smith.
  13. Does anyone have m&p compact magazine baseplates in stock? I want something smaller for mine. If I can't find them is it legal to cut down the regular baseplates in USPSA production and IDPA SSP?
  14. I've never had problems with mine ejecting, but I do like the look. Is there any concern about rust with the finish removed?
  15. Never mind, just remembered that there are revolvers on the production list.
  16. What rule specifically covers that? Or are you 'bending' rules again. Was it you that already admitted to ignoring the calibration rules for poppers? 8.6.4 In the event that inadvertent contact from the Range Officer or another external influence has interfered with the competitor during a course of fire, the Range Officer may offer the competitor a reshoot of the course of fire. The competitor must accept or decline the offer prior to seeing either the time or the score from the initial attempt. However, in the event that the competitor commits a safety infraction during any such interference, the provisions of Section 10.3 may still apply. The dog falls under external influence. The dog is an external influence I agree. But in the case of this rule it is presumed the shooter finished the stage. That is the only way the RO can offer a reshoot before the shooter sees the scores or time. Then that would presume the shooting was allowed to continue with the dog running around on the stage. That probably won't happen. STOP will be given and the dog will be dealt with, the stage reset and the shooter will reshoot. 8.6.4 can't be used once a shooters course of fire has been stopped by an RO. Sure it can. Stop command can be issued anytime any RO feels its necessary. If an RO shouts stop and I haven't broken a rule or had a squib or other unsafe malfunction, Id certainly say I was interfered with and deserve a reshoot. 8.3.5 “Stop” – Any Range Officer assigned to a stage may issue this command at any time during the course of fire. The competitor must immediately cease firing, stop moving and wait for further instructions from the Range Officer. Thread hijack complete

  18. Were you loading the same length with WSF?
  19. If you shoot until it falls, you own the time. Finish then challenge the calibration. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. So if the consensus is MG > plated, where would everyone put cast lead compared to plated? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. Anyone using a Lee turret press have any suggestions on routine maintenance, cleaning, lubricating that should be Done? And yes, I know "buy a dillon" will come up early Other suggestions welcome. Anyone using a Lee turret press have any suggestions on routine maintenance, cleaning, lubricating that should be done. 22. I don't shoot a CZ, but I mark the basepad of my mags using a silver or gold collored sharpie marker Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. Not if you mean start position in USPSA production. In production, handguns with external hammers must be fully decocked at the start signal
  24. Take the back strap of all together, smaller grip might give a better handle. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
