I used a rat tail file to bevel the edge. It doesn't take much, so don't go crazy, just take the sharp edges off. I had my lifter welded and had nothing but problems with it. Ended up buying the competition lifter and have not had a problem yet. Almost 200 rounds, which may not seem like much but the welded lifter would cause a jam on pretty much every stage.

Definitely tmms! You don't want to go prone with the rifle while wearing shotgun caddies.

I believe you lose around 70% of your vision when you close one eye. Try focusing on something hanging on your wall and close your non-dominant eye and you'll see how unclear it becomes.

I'm in the same boat, I've had an AR mostly assembled for over a year. Definitely going to be a Grendel, but I can't decide which barrel to get. From what I have read you can shoot all Grendel ammo in the 264 barrels. I'm leaning towards a BHW 24 inch barrel because I want it more for long range shooting.

This was hands down my favorite match I attended last year. Unfortunately for me I wont be able to attend this year.

I use CCI SPP for 9mm with titegroup and never had a problem.

I agree with jesse, buy all L2/4. I have an L2/6 and I only use it when I need alot of shells on a stage.

I recently built a rifle using the 16 in jp mid length barrel and i have no complaints. I also used the syrac gas block and after it was tuned, I have almost no muzzle rise. You wont be disappointed!

Does anyone know what the longest rifle targets will be?

Yes the round was pushing up too hard on the lifter and wouldn't allow the bolt to close all the way slamming on the bolt handle. I'm going to have to get the mod done because it was a mess trying to get the stuck shell out. What should have been a 15 second or less stage turned into 58 seconds. Thanks for the replies.

I was at a match this weekend shooting an all shotgun stage when I broke the #1 rule with the M2, I ran it dry. I use the load two method, and Instead of chambering a round before loading, I closed the bolt and proceeded to attempt loading 4 rounds to finish the stage. As I tried loading the first two rounds, the first round got stuck halfway between the lifter and the mag tube. I know the bolt has to be closed on the gun to be able to load, so is it possible the bolt wasn't closing all the way since I didnt chamber a round? I have seen some of the gunsmiths that work on the benelli"s advertise an out-of-battery loading modification. Would this mod be what I need to be able to load with the bolt slightly open?

I recently ordered a Bladetech WRS for my edge. I got to use it in a match Saturday and it worked great. I like having the confidence that I can't snag the rear sight with the buttstock of one of my long guns and pull the pistol out of the holster. By the way, I ordered it straight from Bladetech and they said it would be 6-8 weeks out, 2 weeks later it was here already.

I tried a Vltor collabsible, it worked but i wanted to try a fixed stock. I switched to the ACE skeleton but I was having to push my cheek too hard into the foam to get a proper sight picture. I tried the Magpul MOE rifle stock and it was a bit short. I found that they made an extended butt pad and it was perfect. I like it so well I bought them for all my AR's.
