  1. You can polish the bottom of the bar with some honing oil and 800 grit silicon carbide paper. It does not really remove any measurable amount of metal, it just cleans up and smooths the surface. Also everu 100 rounds clean the slide bar way on the frame and finally cut 5 to 10 coils of the factory spring or get a sorter spring from the hardware store. This helps eliminate the problem. Some people have just added a second factory spring, this should work about the same. good luck.

  2. I must be very lucky, I have loaded well ove 50,000 rounds on my 550 and about 20,000 rounds on my 650 and have never had a primmer ignight. On the 550 I have mashed a lot of primmers and even had the primmer delivery bar stick and thow more primmers into the wild blue. I do like the 650 primmer setup much better, as I donot have to make sure it doed not stick. I load 223, 45acp, 40, 10mm, 357 Sig, 357 Mag, 38 spl, 44 Mag, 30-06, 30-30 and used to load 9mm but it is so cheap I just buy a case of it now. :D

  3. Dillons is goog but expensive, I buy Midway polish 16oz size whenit is on sale. It is on sale 2 or 3 times a year so I stock up. Have tried mag wheel polish but it is more expensive then Dillons, and they all work the same for me. Seems the more brass I polish at once the better it works so I load up the Dillon 2001 to max capacity.

  4. Spend the extra $$ for a Dillon carbide 357 Sig die. If you lube every third case with Hornady one shot case lube life will be good. I lube every case still but found that you could go so far as every fifth case with no ill effects. The Dillon carbide die is well worth the money IMHO.
