  1. Is single stack nationals a one day format? it appears so since it is limited to 390 shooters at 130 shooters per day?
  2. that would be a shame if this match didn't happen. I look forward to this match as it is one of my favorite's. Great competition and great match management every time and they do a great job with the prize table as well.
  3. I think the bigger point being missed here is that all these stages were approved by the USPSA.
  4. Have the stages been approved yet? Just wondering when we could get a peak at them.
  5. is there a breakdown for the number of shooters in each class and division yet?
  6. Just some minor mind glitches, what were you hits?
  7. I have a stock Beretta 92FS that I bought a Cylinder & Slide Low Mass Drop in trigger kit for. I measured my SA trigger pull before the install at 5lbs flat, couldn't measure DA on my gauge because it was over 8lbs. Installed the kit, and now I still can't measure DA pull and the single action pull is 5.5lbs. The trigger feels better with less take up, and it is crisper, but how in the world did it get worse? Cylinder and Slide says that it can't be their kit, and that I should check to make sure everything is functioning properly. Well everything is working properly, if it wasn't something sure would be in a bind. Just so you know the kit comes with a new hammer, trigger return spring, mainspring, and sear. Anyone got any ideas? I'm tempted to just pull it all out and send it back.
  8. Matt im coming to casa for the hillbilly match and the following weekend for a class
  9. My first double action pull was usually off and I know thats me. My da pull is 5.5 lbs and sa pull is 3.5 lbs I wish it was lighter as my m&p is 3.0 lbs. When I got the gun in from cz custom it was a terrible trigger and it was supposed to be the top of the line sp-01 job. I had a different cz pro shooter get it to where it is now.
  10. I was at the range the other day testing some ammo shooting 3 inch dots at 7 yrds and I had an issue with some wild flyers that were off target by 3 or 4 inchs. I was taking my time shooting my accushadow which ive only shot a few hundred rounds through. I didn't think it was an ammp issue so I got my m&p out and was shooting prefect with it. Am I just flinching that bad?
  11. That would be great if so, I would for sure get a 627 then. I don't want to get one though until they are legal. I already have a cz accu-shadow that I'm waiting on to become production legal
  12. I would like to get a revolver that I could occasionaly shoot USPSA, but can't really find data on what people are using besides that the majority are shooting S&W, but which models? I had the chance to feel a Dan Wesson that Matt Mink had built that was absolutely awesome feeling. So would you guys give me some suggestions??? Also who is building them?
  13. I am asking this for the purposes of USPSA open. Book says that 3.6 grns of universal with a 147grn bullet is fine, that is the max charge in my book.
  14. I've currently reloading 147 grain bullets with 3.0 grains of Universal at 1.150 OAL and currently avergaing about 980fps. So if I need to get to 1122 with a 147grn bullet to get to major power factor then i should be able to reach major pretty easy. in my research before dropping .3 of a grain of powder usually yielded about 100fps with Universal powder. So by that math I'm assuming I can make major with 3.6 grains of Universal powder. I always see people saying that its unsafe to make major power factor in a gun like the M&P, but I think most are just running their mouths about something they know nothing about. I don't understand how it would be unsafe as its around the same fps as factory loads. I've also seen other people online making major in m&p's, and I do have a sotrm lake barrel in my gun. Thoughts???
  15. Got a CZ SP-01 Custom ordered and on the way, I know first shot must be double action, but does the safety need to be engaged or not?
  16. Got another coming from Arkansas. Will the stages be released soon.
  17. i think they could still use some improving. I wipe them down but that doesn't always cut it. Feels like running cheap tires on a nice car.
  18. I've got an M&P and last year in a match towards the end of the day as mags got a little dirtier, I would have issues with the mags not dropping out fast enough, especially when empty. Is there a better coating I could coat these with to reduce friction and make them faster. No one makes polishedmags for M&P so, some kind of coating could be a big help
  19. ooohh I like this. I just realized this would be perfect on my 100" projection screen. I can do all kinds of dry fire stages with this idea.
  20. I understand what your saying but you don't have to repeat the same thing over and over. I 've been to a ton of matches and no one have ever said anything about it. I see what you saying in the video but I can also see that my finger is not on the trigger and is to the side.
  21. So do you think it makes sense to train with a 22, or it just an invitation for bad habits?
  22. Thanks, you know you always think you are moving faster than you really are. But I realized I was extremely slow when a grand master was in my squad and he cut my stage times in half. It was the Missouri State Championship match Yeah my gun groups pretty well, I just have a tendancy to shoot high. I always put together a plan when doing the walk through. I always thought shooting left to right was more comfortable for me, and of course on some stages I shoot in a different direction trying to make an easier exit.
  23. First off, I had several malfunction as you will see, and I think I've got them figured out. Also i tried to pickup way too many extra shots and you can see the poor stage management cost me big as I know I had to reload on last shot 3 different times. Other than those obvious mistake, what can I do to be faster?
  24. I have a M&P 9L that I shoot production with. Lately I have been training a bunch because I have a lot to work on. I've been thinking about using a .22 to train with but unfortunatley there is no 22 conversion for my gun. So what would be my best option on buying a .22 to train with. Should I go with a M&P 22 pistol (problem with it is the 4in barrel might have a different point of aim.) or should I buy another gun like a .22 target pistol?
