In short, it is the discretion of HQ to allow a level 2 and above match score count as a classifier. I checked the box on the form c then they review who is shooting and what divisions and decide from there. There are two paragraphs on the USPSA website for FAQs for classification if you want the details.

Anyone know why the match counted twice for a classifier?
Shooting open (Enough GMs to count the match score) I got one for the match and One for the specific classifier run.
Yep, I believe we had enough GMs in Open, Production and Limited for the match itself to count along with the actual classifier. We did break tradition this year and had the actual classified count, hasn't for several years now!

Same as every other match I'm guessing. Unless lightning starts just suck it up and shoot in the rain. If there is lightning then we'll probably wait it outAt the time of this post, the weather shows scattered thunderstorms for Saturday. What is the contingency plan for Saturday shooters if the weather does not cooperate?
Pretty much. Our bays drain fairly well with one bay that gets muddy and one that will have standing water, just a little, during and just after heavy down pours. Certainly better than some of the stories I have heard from other matches and better than some I have shot in.

Bring your rain gear. We have shelters on the bays and can shoot until 8:30pm. If we need more than that, we can pull cars up for headlights.

Hey everyone,
Still working on the match book to post - my apologies on that.
Basic upcoming information - squad 100s are Friday, 200s are Saturday and 300s are Sunday. The 01-10 two digits refer to stage number with 01-05 are in the corresponding bays. Up top in bay seven will be 06-07 and 08-10 will be in Bay 8.
Staff meeting at 8am on Friday with shooters meeting a little after 9am.
For Saturday and Sunday, shooters meeting will be at 8am each day.
For competitors, lunch will be provided by the match and we will have water stations on every other bay.
I will send out an email to all shooters as soon as i have the final schedule, squad lists and match book updated.

I'm just glad I didn't see a stage 11 "Smells like sex in here"
I was going to have that stage name but j had to many over eager ROs who wanted that stage. To be fair, I denied them all!!

Currently, both weekend days are full - we have plenty of spots open on Friday to shoot.

What Sarge said on hotels is correct. There is a huge rodeo, I think, just south of Circleville.
Here is an updated squad listing, still have room on both weekend days and plenty of spots with staff on Friday!

Good morning everyone!
Just wanted to share a quick update. We obviously have Matt Cheely and CK Arms on board this year, we have also confirmed that Techwear, Rudy Project, Springfield Armory, Shooters Connection, Vogel Dynamics, Kames Sporting Goods, Redding Reloading and Sierra Bullets are all on board again. As new sponsors confirm, we will add them to the posting.
We still do not have a finalized match hotel right now. There are two in Circleville (Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn) that are about 10 minutes from the range. Additionally, hotels in Chillicothe, Lancaster, Grove City and Canal Winchester are less than 30 minutes from the range!!
If you are interested in working the match, please let me know as I am always looking for help.

Hello and Happy New Years!
The 2016 Ohio CK Arms Buckeye Blast will take place over Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 27-Sunday May 29.
The match will consist of ten stages and be approximately 250 rounds.
The match will be set up to shoot in a one day format with most competitors shooting either Saturday or Sunday. Staff will shoot Friday along with any competitors who want/need to shoot on Friday.
CK Arms is the match sponsor for this year and we cannot wait to see what Matt comes up with for the match gun!
Sign ups will start as soon as I can get the internet to cooperate with me. Match cost will be $110 again and include lunch the day you shoot. Match shirts will be TechWear again and will be $45 this year.
If you are interested in working the match, please let me know.

Good evening everyone,I hope you have had a fund and enjoyable summer.I just wanted to let you all know that registration is open for our September USPSA match at PCSI and I hope to see you all out there. Our turnout has shrank over the summer, but, I am hoping as fall gets a little closer, folks are able to find a little time to come out and have a little fun.I am working on some different stage designs that we have not run and plan on pulling out some more of our props. I realize I have not had many of them in the matches so far this year but time to get them out there and have some fun. We also have all the classifiers in and up except for August which will not show until the next re-fresh on uspsa.org.If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions for stages, or elements they would like to see, please let me know and I will try to get them incorporated into the stages. I will have stages done and emailed out by Thursday evening to whoever is registered.

Trail boss is fun for soft loads. I put 4.1gr under a 230 bayou and runs in all my 45s. I even tried the same load with some 200swc bayous and it was 100% with my major SS gun set up.

If the WSB requires you to put the box in the port prior to engaging targets, I would think this is akin to a required reload miss and one procedural per shot. I have shot stages that specify a certain prop be in a certain location prior to the last shot...
In general, I try to be as specific as possible in the WSB to declare procedural penalties involving props. Clarification from the RM/MD would be helpful.
