  1. The problem with using a logical method for reviewing a firearm is it is not generic enough for manufacturers. They love a review that basically reads the specs of the gun that you can find on their website put into 1000 words. I mean honestly.. how many really BAD reviews published in a magazine or on a website have you found? Sure, you can read reviews people put on a message board, but then you get 100 haters agreeing and 100 fan boys arguing and you still feel like you have no clue what to think. Gun manufacturers love those generic and useless reviews.. only way to know if you will like a gun is to shoot it yourself.
  2. Yes, at the very least run it in 1080p 60fps. But dropping down to 720p 120fps should not make you lose that much as far as quality. And when you convert it to put on Youtube (if you do), youre going to lose quality.. but that's just for show not for your own analytics.
  3. I am sure you have probably already learned this by now, but yes Mk II mags will work in a Mk III as long as you have swapped out the bushing to get rid of the mag safety. A BAM, VQ or just Mk II bushing in your MK III is all you need.
  4. By Open gun are you talking about for USPSA competition or what? If so, youre planning on running Minor in Open?
  5. Perhaps this is lack of knowledge on my part, but I have never heard of the weight of the trigger pull effecting what load you can run in the gun. Once the trigger breaks the internals of the gun are still going to cause the striker to hit the primer the same. Or are you saying the lighter trigger pull would result in light strikes? That still doesn't seem to effect the load, other than the primer itself.
  6. Congrats on your first match. As you move forward just try to remember that its better to be a little slower and focus on fundamentals right now than to try to be as fast as the guys that have been doing it for years.
  7. Looking forward to this match.. me and a few other Huntsville guys will be shooting Saturday in squad 7!
  8. As long as we don't have to bring scuba gear... Starting to think scuba gear might be needed. Or at the very least a mask and snorkel!
