  1. That's excellent news, I'm happy that everything worked out for you.
  2. Glad to help! I'm sure everything will go smoothly, the installation was easy and the tablet was as new afterwards.
  3. Hi! Have you checked what kind of digitizer you need? If you open up your tablet, it's usually printed on the cable that attaches to the motherboard. The digitizer I needed was F-WGJ10341-V2A, and I bought it here; https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32680363260.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.10.4ffe1802WlcfCQ You can also see on the picture where the model number is printed. Hope it helped. Best regards, Ole Thomas
  4. Are the tablets from Mark 7? In order to get it to work you need Android 4.4 and root access.
  5. Hi! I want to put optics on my Sphinx 3000 Tactical, and I am wondering what kind of rail these guns use. I ordered a "universal" mount from Carver Custom, but it did not fit the rail. They have three other options available, Glock, M&P and XDM. Do any of these models share the same rail as the Sphinx 3000?
  6. I was able to get the original tablet running again, I replaced the digitizer and all is well. A lot cheaper than purchasing a new tablet from Mark 7. I hope they will come with an updated software that works with the more recent Android versions.
  7. I don't have another tablet, but I had a Samsung smartphone that I wasn't using. I was able to pull the software installation files from the tablet with ADB, and then I rooted my phone. I was able to get the autodrive kind of working, but I had problems with the resolution. After adjusting the DPI in the build.prop file, I was able to get the interface to look normal, and everything worked perfectly. I also tried with a newer phone with Android 9. I was able to install all the necessary software, but it would not detect the autodrive. The safest bet is to stick with a tablet with Android 4.4 for maximum compatibility. I will try with Bluestacks later when I have time, just to see if it's possible.
  8. Hi folks, did anyone try to replace their tablet on a Mark 7 autodrive? They seem to use the cheapest ones around, and I now have 3 Mark 7 tablets that have stopped working. On two of them the USB port failed, on the third the bottom 1/3 of the screen stopped working. I can find superior tablets online for $50, and they wanted to charge me $195 for a replacement directly from Mark 7. They told me that they are proprietary and no other tablet will work, but I find that hard to believe. For that price I want to buy something better that will not fail a bit further down the road. So I was hoping that someone changed the tablet on one of their Mark 7's and could chime in. Thanks!
  9. Mark 7 came through and sent me a detailed tutorial, so all is good now.
  10. Looks like I'll have to do some simple rewiring, I just need to get a Molex extraction tool and I should be all set. Hopefully I'll get a reply from Mark 7 soon.
  11. I believe I found the switch, and it looks like I can choose from 103,5v, 115V and 126,5V. Is it the same on yours?
  12. NicoR, thanks for the information. Unfortunately I can't find any info on Mark 7's website on how to do this, and can't seem to find the switch when taking the cover off of one of my units. Looks like an account is needed to access anything on their site? I've been trying to request one through facebook, email and the Mark 7 website, but no luck yet. Mark 7's customer service sure leaves something to be desired.
  13. I bought them used, and unfortunately there are very few used 220V drives around. According to their website they run at both voltages, so I didn't think much of it. I'm waiting for a response from Mark 7.
  14. Hello! I just purchased a couple of Mark 7 Pros for the Dillon 1050. These are set up for 110V, and I was wondering how to proceed to convert them to 220V. According to the Mark 7 website they will run at both voltages, but I figured it's better to be safe than sorry and ask for advice before I connect them to 220VAC. Thanks.
  15. What about ditching the 1050 alltogether and go straight for the Mark 7 Revolution? http://www.markvii-loading.com/The-Mark-7-Revolution_p_332.html
