Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I had a friend that started having this intermittent trigger reset problem after taking the trigger group apart and cleaning it and reassembling it. They brought it over to me to look and see if I could help. Ended up that they had gotten the sear spring and the trigger return spring swapped around when putting it back together. It was a Ruger trigger group with a KIDD trigger kit in it. Would be worth looking into at least.......
  2. Did you get the "Service" or "Match" version of range rod?
  3. The revolver will have less felt recoil with the same load also because you don't have the slide slamming back and forth.
  4. I tried to order using the code BD21 and it doesn't work.
  5. +1 on the Cramolin/Caig products. Used it for 35 years on electric communication equipment and it was better than any of the other contact cleaners by a large margin.
  6. What kind of group are you getting at 25 yards with that combo? Thanks!
  7. Would you by chance have a picture of that? Did you have to make any changes to your draw from the holster with the mount hanging off the side? Thanks
  8. You would need to make sure you could adjust the sensitivity so it wouldn't be triggered if someone hit the wood post instead of the plate.
  9. Thanks everyone for the replies! this was exactly the information I was looking for.
  10. Going to try revolver shooting the year and I just purchased a new 627PC for shooting steel matches. Ive read tons of good information on this forum already. The question I still have is what would be expected DA trigger pull weight with the stock spurred hammer without lightening it? Could you still get in the 6.5 to 7lb range? Most of the information I read is using a lighter hammer or they don't mention in the thread one way or the other. Thanks!
  11. Is this with a 7lb trigger pull, or still at the 8lb?
  12. Thank you guys for the replies. I will pursue them.
