  1. I will ship to Phillippines as long as it's a residential address. Also, I've been in communication with a possible dealer for me in Manila. For all others in countries over the world: If you're interested in becoming a dealer for my products, just send me an email. I've got several dealers in the process of being set up and these companies are already dealers for me: Eric Grauffel / www.ericgrauffel.com, France Saul Kirsch / Double Alpha Academy, Holland Winge Vapen, Norway PracTac, Norway Working on a couple of potential dealers in Canada, Phillippines and France. Looking for a dealer in Sweden, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and other countries that are interested.
  2. Has happened to me and buddies of mine several times with 40 S&W "range brass". If you're shooting hot loads and shitty brass, the cases will separate from time to time and one of the typical consequences is that the extractor takes a dive. However, none of us has ever had any problems with it other than having to replace the extractor and probably wanting to clean the gun afterwards.. Moral is... use good brass when you're using fast powders. ;-)
  3. Today marks exactly the day one year ago when my online shop went live ! Thanks everybody for shopping and being loyal customers. More fun to be had in the next year... ;-) Henning
  4. He he What would be cool about designing a functional slide stop is that I could eventually make one that'll work perfect with the Grams follower.
  5. Here's what I know.. IMI Baby Eagle are made at the Tanfoglio factory so lots of parts will interchange. AR-24 is made from old Tanfoglio tooling & prints. They've made some cosmetic changes to the frame and slide, but it's Tanfoglio dimensions.
  6. Slide Pin... I'm considering down the road to also make a factory replacement slide stop with the slide lock lever. I could do this using the same slide pin and manufacture a lever that can be attached to it. Personally I've never been a big fan of functioning slide stops since they seem to lock back when they're not supposed to. However, for Production, Limited 10 etc where magazine capacity is a constant issue, the slide lock is very useful and more or less necessary. For Open (30 rnd capacity) and Limited (22nrd capacity) I just count my rounds when I shoot and reload before I run out. But it would be pretty cool to have a high quality, high strength slide stop that works the way it was intended to. What's you guys opinion of this? It's a lot more complicated than making just a slide pin, but it could be worth it. Plus you wouldn't have to worry about what to do with the open hole that TMFAKBFS was concerned with If I thread some of these slide pins, it would be easy enough to manufacture a lever that can be attached to the pin. Just as a note, this won't happen right away, but I'm thinking ahead so that the new pin can be used for a future functional slide stop.
  7. The large frame FP OAL is 2.640" and the small frame FP OAL is 2.480". All the difference between the two is designed between the two gliding points. On the small frame it measures 0.535" and on the large frame it is 0.695". The other difference is that the small frame OD of the firing tip is 0.060" vs 0.062" on the large frame. This was done to match the factory dimensions through the firing pin hole. Basically they will be identical in length after the 2nd gliding point and forward so that the same firing pin spring can be used for both. In comparison to the factory firing pin, mine sits 0.025" longer inside the slide. It is made so that you can rest the hammer forward safely for Double Action models. In reality the Large frame firing pin is really only suitable for Single Action, whereas the short will work for both DA and SA models. I've done it this way so that Stock II 9mm can use this firing pin which comes as small frame. If you guys want, I can put it in the web store now. I will ship regular products right away and mail out the firing pin separately later.
  8. So, I have decided to make a firing pin for the small frame Tanfoglio pistols. Currently EAA doesn't import the small frame pistols into the US any more, but all over the world Tanfoglio sells their 9mm in the small frame and I thought it was about time to provide the same quality firing pin that I have for the large frame. The pin will look identical to the long one, just shorter. The OAL is 2.480" and it is 0.025" effectively longer than the factory pin. It's made of 420 Stainless and hardened to Rockwell 50. It'll be about 33% lighter than the factory firing pin and won't chip like the factory does. It is made to work with Double Action hammer forward models like the Stock II. It'll be a great firing pin for those of you who shoot the Gold Team 9mm, Limited 9mm, Match 9mm, Stock II 9mm etc. In fact, this firing pin will also work in Armalite AR-24 pistols. I don't have a CZ, but I bet it'll work in those guns too ! This product will be available in about 2-4 weeks. The other new product coming out is my new 'TiteFit Slide Pin'. This is a high quality slide stop pin made out of S7 tool steel. This is the preferred steel of choice for all after market slide stop manufacturers. It'll be hardened to Rockwell 45 and will be the slide stop pin you will want to use over factory. The slide pin hole measures 0.200" and this pin is 0.198". The factory is 0.196". This means it'll lift the barrel slightly tighter than the factory which will be beneficial to the gun. It's slick and almost flush to both sides of the frame. I've decided to make it stick out only 0.020" on both sides. Of course if you want you could easily fit it to flush yourself. It'll look really good and it'll serve you well. ;-))
  9. Vincent, I have been working on the short grips all day. We had to make new vise grips to hold them for profiling and it's a whole different process than the other grips. We almost had it done for production run this evening, but the right side grip's contour wasn't quite what we wanted. You'd think it be simple... If everything moves along I hope to have the ready for ordering and shipping next week.
  10. The large frame 9mm mags are the old 38 super mag style. Let me know if they have the spacers or not. If it doesn't you might be better off re-chambering the gun to 9x23 or load long. 9mms in the large frame is ... difficult. Some seem to get them to work. I never shoot 9mm, only 38 super (even for steel loads) and 40 S&W. So no personal experience, only what people report back to me. I talked to Tanfoglio & EAA at the shot show and asked both parties to start bringing in the 9mm in small frame. Those things rock and work great. And... that's what the rest of the world is using ... 9mm = small frame. But... US = EAA large frame 9mm. Logic? Nope.
  11. Hey snaps, I got your order and I sent you an email about it. You ordered a trigger bar for small frame and firing pin for large frame. Check your email and lets make sure you get the parts for the correct size frame, unless you're the lucky owner of both a large and a small frame...
  12. Hey I've never seen anything like that before, but with guns as everything else, things break. I've only replaced one trigger bar many-many years ago and it was from wearing out the top parts that interacts with the slide. I've got the bars in stock so call me.
  13. Paul. Awesome. I love washing machines too. Run mine every day ;-D
  14. Just uploaded another video of me shooting a mini-IPSC stage with the Mac-11.. and goofing off.
  15. ... http://henningshootsguns.com/pages/2008_dayattherange.html you don't have to have Tanfoglio's to have fun...
  16. Hi Chuck I just sent you a message and if you can send me some I'll get them made up. ;-) Henning
  17. So Cool ! I'm glad you're loving your Tanfoglio and blasting the crap out of it. I haven't focused much on the 45 on my site since it's typically only Steel model (and some Limited 45's) I get emails or calls from. However, I love shooting 45's and in fact just bought a TommyGun 45... he he You can definitely make some improvements on your gun. H-400 fits the IDPA box and will make it nicer to reload, won't break etc. No idea if you'll get any more rounds, but it would be the only pad you can extend to (I believe). It's super-nicely made, looks good on the gun and magazines and are reasonably priced at $25. X-Long Firing Pin & Wolff 15lb hammer spring is what I would recommend for you. Also have a deal on that package. It'll lighten up the trigger without breaking the bank and you'll have more reliable firing than you have today with the factory stuff. You do need to remove the firing pin safety (plunger & spring) which also lightens the trigger pull just a hair. $27.95 Wolff 12lb recoil spring is what I use for normal 45 loads or heavy (180 + power factor loads). This will feel good and the gun will cycle a little easier. $7.95 H-152 Contour Grip panels feel good, look good and they are thinner than the grips you have on right now. You can put skate board tape on it and you'll have a better and stronger grip which will improve your shot-to-shot. $95 That's what I would do for now. Later on you could consider doing a full trigger job with the EGW parts which will be a huge improvement. I do recommend you sending the gun in to me or to Canyon Creek or EGW. To start, get the long firing pin and the lighter hammer spring and it may just lighten it up enough for you. If you need any more help, always feel free to call me at (720) 352 1080. ;-) Henning
  18. I had a talk with Eric at the Shot Show and funny I was just checking out his shop tonite as well... I think these are made for 1911 slide cuts which means they are not going to be a 100% tight fit. That's what I remember Eric told me at the show. We might start making a Tanfoglio/EAA specific slide racker. Is this the shape you're interested in ?
  19. Honestly I don't think it matters, but whatever you do it's probably good to be consistent.
  20. I got a few in so if you're looking for a very reasonable limited class gun, the Match 40 S&W is a great choice. Especially for shooters for smaller hands. With my new grips they feel good. I can get the gun tricked out with a trigger job, my new grips and whatever magazine, holster, magpouch setup you want. Just give me a call at (720) 352 1080. This gun is legal for IDPA as well and with the H-400 pads they fit the box and look good (17 + 1 rounds). For USPSA you can push the limit to 21 + 1 with my H-141 padded magazines. All up to you ;-)
  21. and I agree with that. I think it would be more of an upgrade for the Match models. With a short dustcover and heavy guiderod and bull barrel that Match might become a really nice alternative to the limited..
  22. Dude, It's super cool. A cone 6" barrel would probably be too much. The bushing isn't necessary, but a cool upgrade that I think will make it look bitchin. Definitely slide lightening... and a camo paint job ;-) Not sure if I'm ever gonna go with a 6" uspsa gun, but I talked to the factory about that and I'll see if I can get them to make up a 6" model or just a 6" upper that you can slap on a regular limited. If we can just get them in 40S&W, Rich can do the final trickery which I'd probably prefer anyway.
  23. I don't use them and I think you'll have to use Sprinco springs or very light springs.
  24. Another product that is been brought to my attention is: TUNGSTEN Guide Rod What's the interest for this ?
