Buds gun shop is showing a 712 ALS in stock right now for $494.00 with the 26" barrel.

Not much wrong with your component choices...most shooters tend to run 18" barrels with rifle length gas tubes for better recoil feel. Several good choices for 18" barrels out there..I am sure many, more knowledgeable folks will be along shortly.

Here's the deal, have my first 3-gun match next month. Need shot-shell caddies. My belt is a basic 1.5" Wilderness Instructor belt. Would like to get something like the AP customs or taccom holders. Which of these would go best with my current belt. Yes I do plan to get a dedicated competition belt in the future...

Ordered the +3 tube from Make Ready Pro Shop, everyone else was out of the +4..first 3-gun match is next month..now gotta scrounge up some buckshot and .45 ammo...These are the times that test ones will to compete...

Great story, I just signed up for my first 3-gun competition last night, it's still a month away and I am already nervous and scrambling to figure out what equipment I will not be ale to do without.
