  1. Maybe I missed it but is SNS taking orders to be picked up at the match?
  2. Please post a link to the online store, for shirt orders. The uspsaindiana.org URL is not working for me. Thanks!
  3. What the? Hope you called them to verify the delivery address..
  4. +1 on the RAMI slide stop, the DAA thick grips are nice and may help if the problem continues.
  5. Is there any way to see the full squadding list [like USPSA match registrations] with Practiscore? Potential shooters need to be able to lookup and see for themselves what days and squads [with names]are available BEFORE registering/paying for a match.
  6. Hoping the forecast changes - right now Friday shooters are in for a long day. Not worried about my Solomons, shot in rain plenty of times, no big deal - just hoping to get all the stages in without major delays/stoppages.. Sat/Sun looks clear - Sat shooters are hopefully in good shape.
  7. Gotcha - I'll swing in Thursday and if your still setting up by the time I get there [ I'm 6.5 hrs out] I would be happy to chip in and help...
  8. Shooters meeting will be at 7:30, and we go hot at 8. Our registration guy will be sending out an email as well. Better update the website, times are a little different there. http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_IPSC&file=page&load=Battle%20in%20the%20Bluegrass.html Thanks! Edited my original post. Been a long week. Schedule for the weekend: Friday registration from 7:00-4:30 (or until we get done shooting) Friday shooters meeting at 8:15 Friday we go hot at 8:30 Saturday registration from 7:00-8:30 Saturday shooters meeting at 8:15 Saturday we go hot at 8:30 I'm shooting all day Friday - will the range/registration be open on Thursday?
  9. Not exactly sure if this is the case but are you possibly getting a light strike and then having to pull again in double action to fire? If so this is very common apparently with a light FP spring and nothing else. You need to 1. Get an extended (XL) Henning or Xtreme firing pin and 2. polish your firing pin block plunger for starters. Most likelly those will fix the issue. If this is not the issue then let everyone know and Im sure someone on benos has experienced it before and can help.
  10. I know this is slightly off topic but am in the process of setting up my new Stock II. I have the EGD Xtreme Light Hammer and FP spring in, have removed and polished the trigger bar/plunger, etc.. and am waiting on a Henning XL pin. I will be adding the Xtreme hammer for sure but would like to add the EGD trigger (flatter) as well. Is the EGD trigger considered USPSA Production legal (I know it's IPSC legal)? From Tanfoglio's website it appears they are making them, which makes it a factory part right?
  11. Awesome, I'll have a copy of it and the Approved Production List showing weights in my bag if there is ever a question. Thanks for the quick replies!
  12. Just received my new Tanfo Stock II in 40SW last night (thank you very much Dan Hawkins), did the normal things to prepare it for competition like changed the hammer spring, polished the trigger bar and the tension plunger, hammer hooks/sear and misc other places to lighten/smooth the trigger pull out. Then I weighed it with a stock mag and the EG Extreme grips on that it came with, and this leads to my question: On my scale it read 44.1oz and if I read the USPSA Approved Production list right a standard Stock II has to make 44oz. so I'm just barely over. I have not shot a major in Production yet (lots in Open though) so my question would be just how stringent is the weigh in at chrono? Will I be bumped to Open for .1oz? My guess is yes, no +/- tolerance, so for that 0.1oz you get to load your mags all the way up and go play in Open. I also have the original wood grips (which I like a little better anyway) and with those the scale says 43.2 oz - all good. However I haven't been to the range yet and will try the thinner EG grips at some point, so was wondering, if I like them - does my Stock II need to go on a diet?
  13. Glad I asked - a 1/4" and the whole evil plan goes right out the window Thanks for the info Dr. Atlas!
  14. I'm considering getting a StockII in 10mm for Production; intending on swapping out the 10mm barrel with the 40SW barrel from my Tanfo Limited and shooting 40minor. Only reason for getting the 10mm StockII is that is all I can find; but already have the Limited in 40SW and thought this might work. Both have bull barrels but there may be a slight length difference - I've seen the Limited barrel listed as 4 3/4" and the StockII barrel is usually listed as 4 1/2" but the StockII and the LImited just look like difference configurations of the same gun (Limited = Single Action, StockII = Double action and no holes in the frame). Am I missing something? Has anybody tried this?
  15. Any word on the 2015 Production Nationals dates? I've been told it will be at PASA (Barry, IL) this year around Aug or Sept. Area 5 (which has been at PASA for the last few years) is slated for Wisconsin on Aug 27th. I'm wanting to shoot both - hoping the scheduling allows that.

    RTS 2

Probably so! Got mine home, won't turn on at all, wasn't heat related. Looks like I'm shootin production this weekend!!

    RTS 2

Well it happened, I was practicing today and the RTS2 flat quit, replaced the battery, no help. It may have overheated, it was about 93 in the shade and I had run about 250 rounds through before this happened. Hopefully when I get home and it has cooled off it will fire up again as I have back-to-back matches this weekend. Might have to shoot production or limited for both matches if it's fubar Frame mounted, no issues until now, have the O-Ring in. I'm seeing a new Slide Ride in my future (the one I have goes in and out, the intensity potentiometer has a bad solder joint I think) - however it worked for years before having any issue, this RTS2 has only been in use since March! Damn shame, I really like it, but....

    RTS 2

Seems like CMore has a QC problem with these. Mine worked flawlessly at Area5 -even though I sure the hell didn't I'm thinking if I had to send it back that I would want a new one, notjust"fixed" with an O-Ring. Should not have to pay $400 to basically do R&D for them. So far so good with mine but I'm getting tempted to go back to a slide ride with 5 more majors on my schedule this year....
  19. Having an issue with my 2011 open gun, the mags are not sticking in the grip or rubbing on anything but if I even slightly rotate the grip horizontally after hitting the mag release the mag just lays inside the grip. Basically there is no spring pressure on the top round even trying to push the mag out - it appears the only way the mag is coming out is with gravity. I do have the slide stop tabs ground off the followers to stop slide lock but this issue occurs with rounds still in the mag as well. It's really screwing me up on reloads since I have a natural tendency to rotate the grip slightly horizontal during a mag change, then have to shake the mag out of the grip. Keeping the grip completely vertical helps some but mag ejection is still slow - shouldn't the mags eject cleanly past the grip without having to keep the grip perfectly vertical on a 2011? The mags are actually a bit loose in the grip, I've ordered a new mag release thinking that maybe the mag catch has worn down preventing it from keeping top round pressure. Using relatively new Grams followers and springs, 1- 171mm, 3- 140mm - all doing the same thing.Thoughts?

    RTS 2

Mine's on a Cheely mount and I'm very happy with it. I did have to do the rubber band fix a couple times - the first time it cut out I only put a small piece of band in and it shifted sideways on me, second time I made the pieces longer and used two - no more issues after that. I'm going to try and find some #6 O-rings for the permanent fix. Other than that I have no issues at all with it - I can easily pick up the dot in bright sunlight and I have zero'ed it once - ~ 2K rounds later it is still holding that zero.
  21. Thanks for the replies - my new Open 2011 will have a Dawson Extended firing pin so I'm pretty sure they should be fine. I'll try to get ahold of some CCI SRPs and do a couple of identical load tests to see if the chrono shows any significant differences. I hope not because like I said I can always seem to find the Rem 7.5s - CCIs are hit and miss from my local store (hate paying HazMat).
