  1. Hey dcammo what primer do you use in your loaded rounds? I can only use federal primers.
  2. Rich, I've heard of it but from the turnout they had last year I didn't think they would be having it again this year. At any rate I can't make that match this year, I'll be in Bend Oregon at the Crimson Trace Midnight 3-Gun match that weekend. Glad to know there is another steel shooter in the neighborhood though.

  3. Dan, Have you heard of the Wyoming steel challange match in Rawlins July 14? Let me know as I will be going myself. Rich-Green River

  4. Sorry for not putting all the info in the first post. I hope to do better in futue posts. Rich
  5. Also look at tis site www.codyactionshooters.com for matches. Rich
  6. Rawlins will again hold the 2012 Steel event. This will be a one day match July 14. website is www.greatdivideshooting.org Rich
  7. Thanks, I looked thru the sponsers and past posts in the forums and could not find any mention but hoped there was a company still repairing optics. Checked my dot yesterday and the 4 minute dot went back to 4 minute so may try this again to see how long it will stay and how many rounds sent thru before enlarging. If I remember the name of the company that used to advertise was Optics Doctor? Don't have my past issues of Front Sight but doesn't matter if they are not no longer in business. Rich
  8. I have an older Weaver 45 vari-dot optic that is flaring badly when shooting in a match. It can start out as a 4 minute dot and be 10 minute or bigger by end of string. There used to be a company called Dot Optic? They would repair and bullet proof your dot optics, is there such a company still doing this? I have contacted Weaver and they have no info to be repaired. I am hoping to repair this optic as my next choice is to purchase another but will have to find a company that will support thier products. Rich
  9. Goneracin, I will add this as an upcoming match. In Rawlins Wyo there will be an indoor action pistol match at the recreation center. April 27-29. Look on the City of Rawlins, Wyo website-Recreation-Silver Bullet Tournament. Rich
  10. Thank you all for the replys and will for sure look into the Stick Shift as an option. Rich
  11. Alan Thank you for your reply. I will look into that option but was hoping for less weight (bulk) as my S&W 686 is more than heavy enough with the slip on shroud and my Tasco 42mm w/4-8-12 viarable dot. Hoping to make the Cup next year and need to practice quite a bit. Later this month the Silver Bullet indoor match will be held and will be a good time to start practice as the rules state. Have e-mailed NRA Action rules and have been told no weak hand in the barricade events. Hope they understand what I asked them as to the rule. Rich
  12. Looking for info as to the Red Dot sights on my revolver. Years ago someone had put additional dots in some dot optics to use on the mover as a lead compensator. Not sure if this is still done or what is being used now but need any info if you can on this subject. Thank you Rich
