Im wanting my first bolt gun, obiviously not a high end target rifle. Would you recommend the savage or another similiarly priced rifle? Im looking at either the .308 or the 30 06 both have a 22" barrel. This is primarily for range fun and I'll be reloading.

I pretty much figured that. can I work the bullet out with a couple pair of pliers?

Three of my completed bullets don't have fully seated primers, is it safe to fully seat the primers in assembled bullets? and if not what is the best way to remove the bullet without a bullet puller? thanks alot

yeah thats what i meant, how is a good way to empty the primer trough? I tried a paper clip, but they seem to want to just collect up at the top

Hi guys don't know if its cool to tag on a question in this thread so let me know. Today I started my first ever reloads with a 1000 in 9mm. My question is: is it normal to see a slight flare on the case where the base of the bullet gets seated? And is there a trick to depriming a cocked primer without removing the shell kick out pin? thanks

if it were mine i'de just remove alittle material from the stock follower

^ that gun was right out of the box though. I haven't read any reports of the gun choking once cleaned and broken in.

I don't know what the shell follower looks like on the inside , but you could be losing some space due to its design

Im usually good for a dumb idea, can you unthread the cap about half way and locktite it? that and a spring trim might do it
