Interesting. Yep my 5" Pro that I got about a month ago also drops reliably every mag insertion. Kinda freaked me out at first just cause I was used to the hard rack on a 1911. Anyway, I can see now that it will be a benefit in shooting matches for 3G or IDPA.

Hey birdman, the match is booked and they have a wait list going. I'm number 11 but they said that most wait listed people eventually get in. Check out the calguns site here for better info under the competition sub forum. I think it's on the second page.

I've emailed and Pm'd Mr. Burwell but it's been about three weeks and still no word. Is this the usual wait these days to even get on his schedule? Any tips on getting through to get a slot or is it that booked currently? edit: Noob and longtime lurker.
