  1. I'm still shooting the P320, and will continue to do so. No change for me.

Cycles through the gun will clean it up some. It's also normal for a striker fired gun to do that, they all do. The striker assembly is held in place by a striker release plate, when that tension is released, slides move. I've seen it in every striker fired gun, every.
  11. All I use is CCI, loaded on a 650 and 1050, never failed to pop. I think I had a 13# spring in mine though.

Check the weight, you should be okay. I have the biggest PAE pads and a stainless FAT rod. I was under the limit.

One small note, to add on Alma's post. The basepads from PA Enterprises match the profile of the medium grip. The small and large are just a hair different, from a profile matching view. It's minor, most wouldn't notice unless you pointed it out. I have Springer basepads (I'm going to be selling soon) and the PAE pads. I prefer the PAE pads. Scott makes a great product, but I like the matching profile, from an aesthetics viewpoint.

I know drop in kits are being worked on. As of right now, TopGun Supply and Dawson's have sight options. There are a few basepad options out there, PA Enterprises (what I use), Springer, and Ben Stoeger Pro Shop. No comment... Hopefully, soon?

    Ok, got to ask

I'll do a side by side slow motion video of the P320, a P226, and a P226x5ar tomorrow morning. I'll post to my YouTube channel once I finish it.

    Ok, got to ask

The E2 grips on the 226 were a way to address different hand sizes, but not every 226 has this option, but it can be added later. The x5 series and Elite series are all stainless, so the weight does help. But, as noted, it's harder to drive the gun in transitions and prevent overswinging. Some of the big advantages are the same trigger pull, every time. I've been shooting DA/SA guns for about 20+ years and I'm use to it, but having a SA or striker system is a bit different (some find it advantageous). The gun, with a 1911 FAT guide rod and appropriate spring, shoots much flatter than my 226 or my 226x5ar.

I'm very happy with the work done by GGI. My 226x5ARs have awesome triggers. The GGI Sig P320 is outstanding!

Yes. Current load is a 147gr Ibejihead loaded to 1.15, with 2.9-3.0gr Titegroup. PF is 130ish (128-134)

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1425660926.651999.jpg Stock on the right (captured) Stainless 1911 FAT guide rod (middle) and 1911 spring (left) What is the stock spring weight? I ordered the Springer Precision guide rod and would like to know what spring I'm starting with. Stock is pretty strong, I think 20# (but I'm not 100% positive) With the 1911 rod, I've run a 15# and a 14#. I'm waiting on a set of tuning springs to come in 11-15#. I've heard that the 13# is the sweet spot, but I can't confirm yet.

Correct, the Recoil Spring is captured on the Recoil Spring Guide in the stock version. Not 100% familiar with the .40S&W Full Size spring strength, I'm guessing it's probably green? If you are running a .40S&W in a minor PF, you could swap that assembly out for the 9mm version (white, I think). Or, you could get the 1911 FAT guide rod and tune/change the springs out to what you like/want.

The guide rod and recoil spring assembly are one piece. An alternative is a 1911 FAT guide rod, with appropriate spring for your preferred load.

Because then it would lose it's commonality and modularity similarity with the P250??
