Ok great, thanks for the reply, they actually work fine if I insert them somewhat carefully, guess I will just use it for draw and transitions and stuff. Fun toy though, and surprisingly accurate.

I have a problem with my Tanfoglio Airsoft magazines, when you try to reload the rubber tips at the top of the mag are contacting something inside and spewing all the bb's out of the gun. If I pinch them together right before insertion they work ok. Anybody else have this problem? Know a solution? Makes reloads really unrealistic.

Thanks for the replies, I ground mine way down, and it might be tolerable, but I might look into Aristotles idea, pretty genius. Last weekend I had a few infinity shooters tell me this gun was a waste of time and nobody used them. Just made me want to improve it even more.

If Dallas isn't too far try TDSA.net Len has classes as well as private lessons with handguns, carbines etc. He is an excellent instructor and trains military, police, and competition shooters as well. He even has a 3 gun match once a month and a USPSA match once a month on his range. I just took a lesson from him and can't speak highly enough.

While trying to get a higher grip on my Limited I have been having trouble with the safety grinding my hand into hamburger. I have ground it down and rounded it off to where it is shaped and protrudes about like the slide release which helped but still gets in the way. Does anyone know a better remedy for this?

If you have a Match or Limited you can change it. Super easy.

Air soft station .com has Limiteds and Gold Teams. Just got a limited and it is pretty much exact!

Do any of the Saiga 12's lock open when empty? Or is there any way to make them do so?

I see a lot of guys are buying "built" guns from R&R and places like that , but are any of you doing the necessary mods DIY? It looks fairly simple to work on. And does the 922R compliance still come into play. My local dealer doesn't know much about it. It looks like of I just do a stock/pistol grip change and some magazines it would be legal, but I am considering doing the trigger conversion and upgrading the gas system as well of it helps performance, any comments?

That AKDAL does look pretty nice, but for those that have the Saiga's, it looks like the best bet for quick reloading is to get the aftermarket mag well and mags that appear to work AR style, any comments? And also how do you carry your mags in a match, and how many (I assume 2 would probably do it)?

Wow, tons of opinions! Now I wish I asked about this gun BEFORE I bought it. Although it sounds like they can be made to work pretty good. I've read a few things about these being finicky but so far mine has worked flawlessly with whatever I've run through it both times it's been out. Can you not use this gun in limited? I've only been to one match so my multi gun experience is small, but it looks like its about to start taking off here in the Dallas area.

Do any of you have experience with the Saiga? Seems like an AR style mag change would be a big benefit in a match. Haven't seen much buzz on here and was wondering what general opinion was.
