  1. Will the extended single safety work or does it have to be the witness nub?
  2. So in 3 years he's changed his mind on the legality of it. I wouldn't chance it seeing as his most recent ruling is not in your favor.
  3. So a shorter sight radius, less effective grip surface, less durable finish and non-adjustable rear sight; in exchange for a rail on a gun that probably won't see state side until late 4th quarter at the earliest. Sounds like winner!
  4. How does this contribute to this thread on the Lim Pro? So random.
  5. Unless you're Bill Wilson, no one is looking at IDPA as their target audience.
  6. I'd buy Atlanta arms match ammo if money was no object. Otger wise I'd continue using Clay/Dot and/or Prima SV.
  7. SSP never had a rule against full length dust covers. The removal of the dust cover rule only effected ESP and CDP.
  8. It can't be any different if the barrel matches the length of the frame as it does on the Stock III. Maybe I'm missing something?
  9. So if the Stock I uses the Stock III frame, what's the difference between the slides? At first glance, I thought I was looking at the Stock III.
  10. I did. Then Bill bent me over with the newest revision of CCP. Now if I want to continue down this path, I'll have to spend even more coin to bring it in line with the new dimensions.

    ESP legal?

You're referring to rule 8.2.1a. That doesn't apply to ESP, only SSP.
  12. Did colt start using fully supported chambers in their deltas?
  13. Was this with 180gr or 200gr? I like that SV has a similar burn rate to Clays w/o the spikiness.

    ESP legal?

So let me get this straight. Your DVC 3gun is not legal? And who exactly from IDPA informed you of this? I ask so that I can reference your answer with my AC.

    ESP legal?

This gun just got released. How was this shot for nationals? I have 1st hand knowledge that a shooter made a DVC 3gun fit the box and was able to compete in ESP. But yes, that DVC Carry would be ESP legal. 8.2.2.3 doesn't apply because you're not modifying the slide. It's a factory feature.
  16. Received my lastest issue of Tactical Journal a few days ago but hadn't bother looking at it. Two things that jumped out at me with this issue. 1) 2017 rule book was attached to it. 2) Bill Wilson is IDPA president. Am I mistaken or wasn't Joyce president? Is this old news and I've just been oblivious? Bill comments on the most impactful rule changes. His reasoning that people naturally resist change is true. More so if you've spend thousands on equipment only to be told to pound sand!
  17. After the debacle that was the past 2 years of rule changes around the CCP division, I would recommend not doing anything until we can see stability in the rule book. Unless you just want to have one and are using IDPA as an excuse. Then by all mean, buy one.
  18. Sounds like I got in just under the wire. And if I wanted to, sell at a profit.
  19. ^^^+1 I wish they made them in various lengths. I'd love one in my commander length STIs.
  20. Just ordered the last one on a little know website my friend found for me. Only $800 +$20 S&H. No, they don't have anymore in stock and won't be anytime soon. So I won't disclose my source. Should have it in hand by the end of the week. Looking forward to tinkering with it and shooting SSP for the 1st time.
  21. Translation: none of them funny foreign pistols need apply. Yes. The irony is that a glock would be one of those foreign pistols.
  22. I think RIA does a better job of filling that gap. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the Para/Remington is going to need work to be competitive/reliable. If that's the case, you can save yourself a few hundred $$ and start with a RIA and work it up. Just my opinion, but I don't see Remington getting a return on their investment.
  23. Remington should have let than brand die off.
