Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I used my Hear-Pro Amp 39s at the last multi- gun event for 4 days straight while being an RO and shooting. At the end of each day I got into my car and never realized I had them in my ears until I was half way down the road where I was staying or people told me I still had them in. That should say something for how comfortable they are. Brad is a great guy with a good company, he will set you straight.
  2. I have both a 550 and a 650. If I was to go with one it would be the 650 hands down. Pumps out much more product and has safety check features such as powder check station. I use my 650 for all my pistol calibers since i go through more of that product. That said I use my 550 for my .223 reloads only. I can be much more meticulous and watch everything better on the 550 which I think is important with rifle. Both work great and make great reloads.
  3. Wondering if some of you guys had any experience running or reliability of the Winchester AA xtra-lite target 1 oz 7.5 shot 1180 velocity 12 gauge loads. I ran a box of 25 today with no issues through a dirty gun, but would like any opinions before I order some cases. They shoot extremely soft and I am much faster with them then the Wally World federals. Knocked down poppers and steel just fine at 15yrds too. Im shooting a Benelli m1 that already has a couple thousand rounds through her. Do you guys think this is a good load for three gun? I did a search but everyone just says Winchester AA not what type of load they are. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I love Ramshot TAC, its all I use now with my 55gr hornaday FMJ BT. I shoot them out of a Stag 18inch 3g Upper and get very nice groups out to 300yds. I started at 24.9gr which got me 2750-2800fps. I now bumbed it to 25.3gr to get 2900-2950fps. I use tula small rifle magnum primers also. OAL 2.225, brass trimmed to 1.755. This is the best bang for the buck combo I have came up with that works good for my rifle and my needs for three gun.
  5. x2 for Hear-Pro, they make a great comfortable product and Brad is a stand up guy that gets you what you need. He also gives back to the sport by sponsoring matches, what could be better then that.
  6. My brother has the 3500 model and he likes it alot. Never jammed or malfunctioned yet. He uses it for duck hunting which is really hard on guns. Lots of water and material get into your action when hunting these in the swamp. He only has a 1,000 rds of 3in #4 through her, so I cant tell you how well it will work down the road or using light target loads. I personally think you get what you pay for when buying a gun. He had the stoeger m2000 before this and it was not that great of a gun. Stick to the well named and proven models that you know work. Spend the little extra, it will be well worth it down the road in the game of 3 gun. Hope this helps in your decision.
  7. Have a pair of the Hear Pro custom molded plugs from Brad, by far the best plugs I have ever used. Switched from the surefires and there is no comparing, especially shooting comped AR's.
  8. I just shot the Pro Am with these gentlemen, we happened to be squadded up together. I can tell you that these guys are very standup and honest in what they do. They make a great product and I will be buying a three gun belt from them shortly. I currently run a CR speed rig. I was sold on how the belt is very adjustable after you snap the buckle together. The buckle itself is very nice too very sturdy wont wear out, made out of aluminum I think he said they originally use it for climbing purposes. Also the belt is adaptable it doesnt have to be your race rig, you can just also use it as a nice outdoor purpose belt. This is just what I gathered from shooting and talking with them all day, hope this helps.
