Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. steve223, Well I would certainly recomend Gary at Gans Guns. He received my gun Tuesday and I got an email with the picture saying it was done Wednesday night. His prices are very reasonable also.
  2. Thanks guys that helps. Yes aussieboy i want to shoot lighter loads so I will do that. The steel at our range goes over real easy. Even a .22 will take it down.
  3. Gary at gans guns just finished the work on my custom Dan Wesson in 38 Super. I want to use it on steel plates. Would someone suggest a good spring weight for me to start with. It has a 10lb in it right now. I have W231 and a bunch of different weight bullets. Does any one have a good load suggestion with that powder? Thanks. I can't wait to try it out, its my first comped gun.
  4. I own 5 Dan Wessons now, 2 are stock, 2 from their custom shop, and 1 limited edition. All 5 have an extremely tight slide to frame fit. Great guns for the price.
  5. I can't wait to try this little one out. It's a Hakko, about $150 on e-bay, but I had to modify a mount for it.
  6. BrianH, I like your work. That is an interesting mount in your photos for the Hakko. I am going to get a comp installed and the slide lightened on my Cutom Dan Wesson 38 Super when I get it. I am still searching around for someone to do it. What sort of lead time are you for a project like that?
  7. I was using a c-more because lots of people said that it had the brightest dot. This Hakko Dot I got seems to be at least as bright. Well I couldn't find any good mounts for it so I modified this Allchin mount made for a c-more. Anyone else played with these Hakko's?
