  1. Ladies & gentlemen your 3 GunNation champion ..... Tommy " Tommy Gun" Thacker!!!!
  2. Sorry everybody, Jeff beat Rustin. Butler & voight have to reshoot
  3. The shootoff format is a little different. The first round is single elimination. However, the semi's are best of three. It doesnt change my vote though; Team FNH all the way. Go get em Tommy!!
  4. Thanks Dan. I knew there was somebody else there just couldn't remember who. & for clearing up the extra shot. 200+ shooters later things start to run together.
  5. Ill tell you everything I remember, he ditched his shotgun in the barrel at the oil rig, he shot the rifle targets from the right side of the wall, he went 1 for 1 on the shotgun, rifle, and 303 bonus and I think he tossed maybe 1 or 2 extra shots on the handgun poppers from the oil rig. The only other thing is that terry and Ernie from FNH were there as we're 2 RO's from stage 4 and an RO from stage 9. That's about all I can remember. It was a long 9 days on the range!
  6. As far as stage 1 goes, Brett's run was legit and so was the time. Brett could only shoot Wednesday. As it got darker I stopped shooting and RO'd Brett on the last 3stages he had to shoot. Stage 1 was the last stage he shot. What makes his run even more impressive is he shot the poppers from the "oil rig" with his handgun and he shot the stage under a nearly full moon!! It was well after sunset when he shot it. His time was written down correctly and the time was right, I was standing right there. He flat out smoked everybody.
  7. Tommy didn't know for sure right away. I know it was brought to his attention. However, when he saw the video he had enough confirmation to go forward. Had he not seen a video, I think it may have never been brought to Chad's attention. I have the video he saw if you would like to see it. The HD video fom the cameras really shows it. It also shows Daniel come back to the first rifle target before ditching the rifle.
  8. The left target may have been hit. But if it was, it didn't fall. The targets are like a B/C zone auto popper. The target was either hit very low or it hit the target base. Either way, it did not move when Daniel shot at it. I guess by rule they were shot out of order because Daniel shot the stop plate/popper before he hit that rifle target.
  9. I certainly can't disagree with anything you said. The original plan was to use RO's from the match for the shootoff which obviously didn't happen. Let's just hope that the people that need to do the honorable thing will man-up and do it.
  10. Im just wondering if 3Gun Nation will be around next year after the fiasco at Sundays shootoff. Most everybody left the shooting area when it was brought to chads attention that there was an error in the first matchup. Daniels first rifle plate didn't fall before he went on and finished the course. Chad told the 16 shooters, in their briefing, that the plate must fall to score and repeated that several times. The video clearly shows that Daniels first plate does not fall. The 3GN video shot over his shoulder, shows him engage the 1st rifle target, the next 2 flash targets, and the last rifle target, and then swing back to the first rifle target before ditching the rifle. If the error isn't corrected and the episode airs anyway, 3GN will have to answer a lot of questions and it will lose most, if not all, of its credibility. I hope the players in this make it right. 3GN has really helped the sport, it would be a shame to lose it.
  11. I want to say thanks to my fellow RO's on stage 5 Steffan, Walt, & Tabor. Also want to thanks to everybody that shot the match, you guys really helped things run smoothly. I don't thnk we ever had to ask for shooters to help reset the stage. This was my first major match as an RO and I had a blast, can't wait until next year. But, Larry I'm not building anymore wall braces Next year I'll make sure I shoot all the stages
  12. The scope on the scar was a Leupold Mark. 4 1.5-5 illuminated tactical. Don't remember which reticle was in it.
