  1. I hadn't looked till now. But there are major differences in these two Dillon 9 mm powder drop dies. The black one on the left has a simple cone that flares the case. The chrome plated one on the left has an expanding plug then a cone for the flare. It is also marked with a F. that expander plug has been measured at .352 The black one came out of a 1050 that I have had for approximately nine years. The chrome one came from a 550 that I had put away in its original box when I made way for the 1050. No more room on my bench. I just find it interesting the changes that have been made. And I have never owned a double alpha bullet feeder.
  2. My brother-in-law has a square deal that was rebuilt by Dillon. They had returned it with a brand-new powder measure. However Accurate Arms Number 7 was so fine in his powder measure that it would constantly lockup. The return rod would pull on the powder measure so hard that it would shake the whole powder measure scattering powder all over the machine in producing light loads. When he contacted Dillon for a new powder measure they said that they would not replace it. I have not had any problems with any of the Accurate Arms powders in two different powder measures. So much for Dillon's no BS warranty.
  3. I was wondering, that since that barrel is so long, in comparison to a pistol perhaps you can take advantage of it I using a slower burning powder in order to increase the bullets velocity? I would be curious to know what others have found out in regards to this.
  4. I have one in use, mine is silver in color. It is the discharge shoot for use on the Strong Mount.
  5. I have a Kimber Stainless II with the fixed site. Just wondering is it possible to make a slight windage adjustment? I see a set screw in the site centered over the dovetail. Thanks for any help.
