  1. I’ve got two 6.8 uppers it’s kinda a fun round. They are popular for hogs and deer depending on where you live. I shot mine in an ar match one time too. It’s similar to a 308 with less power but in an ar-15 platform instead of ar-10. Just check and see if it’s a spc 2. There’s a pretty good sized forum dedicated to them too. 68forums or along those lines if you want more technical data.
  2. More reliable rounds in a length limited magazine is better you are maximizing the capacity. It’s kinda like extra insurance. An extreme example would be open on a stage with 19 rounds I am gonna load my big stick and have the extra shots in the gun even if I don’t them. I think they are saying it doesn’t matter in this case since both are limited by a hard number round count. If I had to chose I would probably shoot major but have a back up minor gun if there looked to be an edge or a ton of steel I would shoot minor.
  3. I’m dry firing and practicing my reloads with my match gun but I wanted to use this in addition, to work on training some of the aspects of the game.
  4. The airsoft is cheaper to shoot I believe, and you can shoot it in your basement or maybe in your back yard. There are tons of options on guns and you can get pretty crazy. So far I like it if you want to see some in action you can look up action air ipsc it’s popular in countries were you can’t shoot or own real guns. I also think in cold climates it might be an option to shoot a stage with friends in a garage for fun. I’m running propane in mine it’s a little stinky if you shoot indoors
  5. Have you looked into any of the airsoft options. I recently added one to my training. The mags fit in the same holders, the holster works for my airsoft gun and the ergonomics are spot on. I’m using it more for training of moving thru stages and getting in and out of positions sooner and making myself shoot sooner.
  6. Have any of you guys had both the shooting USA holster and the Everglades? I broke the arm on my shooting USA and either have to fabricate a new piece or order a new holster and I’m curious how the mrh compares.
  7. Thank you, I should be getting close then. Hopefully he got in a big batch of components. I’m looking forward to trying it out.
  8. I liked the bushings on my lnl press the powder die would twist occasionally but my new 1100 runs smoother. I may try this tool head for some of the smaller run stuff I reload.
  9. I’ve got enough primers to shoot next year. It’s probably not enough for my goal. I’ve been to busy with other things the last few years. But I’ve setup a new dry fire space and I’m going to hit it really hard this winter, mix in some airsoft. Then see if I can stretch my supplies far enough to get where I want to be.
  10. Sorry to be off topic, when did your order your timer?
  11. One interesting difference is 38 super uses the 9 shell plate on a Dillion and the super comp uses the 223. It’s kinda nice for making sure you don’t get regular super brass or 9mm mixed in.
  12. Some extractors don’t like switching from 38 super to 38 super comp. The case rims are slightly different. Atleast that’s what I’ve read in the past.
  13. I saw it when it was 4K and couldn’t believe it then.
  14. Depends a little on what it actually looks like. If it’s almost flush you may have to drill it out and rethread it. Or send it in for warranty. If you opt to drill then it’s important to get it straight and centered.
  15. You really do need it. Can’t have enough guns. Unless money is tight.
  16. I have a set of older ones. I doubt they are version two. I think they are big dot. I thought I would love them. Up close or shooting at big targets they are ok. I wish I had left my factory glock sights on. It feels like I’ve given too much up for more precise shots.
  17. I’ve got an m2 from TTI. It shoots dead on and it’s really nice being able to aim dead on. If you can afford to have it adjusted it’s worth the money.
  18. Might lower the chances of totally ruining it or cutting new crooked threads. Either one of those things should clean it up. If you are careful.
  19. I’m going to guess a bevel base cast bullet of some sort. Cast in someone’s garage. It’s an uneducated guess at best though.
  20. For me it was a lot harder choice when they were closer in cost. They’ve really upped the price on the mark 7 and the cost to change calibers. Honestly though I’m not sure why I worry about that. I hardly ever changed over my old press.
  21. That looks interesting. Have you shot it yet? How do you like it?
  22. I ordered in February and mine just arrived today. Mine was a 38 Super Comp.
  23. I’ve been running some longshot out of my 38sc. I really prefer the 3n38 it was a lot smoother. It was just hard to come by and more money.
  24. I was a little late to the game. I didn’t restock last year. I ordered half of the bullets I was hoping to shoot this year. With any luck I didn’t miss the boat all the way.
