  1. Yep. And I try not to post here as a "vendor". I'm just a shooter. That being said, I try to provide helpful info regarding subjects that relate to my profession, or PD products when applicable.
  2. Well, I mean, I manage PD's quality and customer complaint logs... but maybe I missed something? (To clarify, PD has never had an accuracy issue REPORTED to them regarding 9mm JHPs)
  3. I'll get the processed option on the site. There is obviously a price difference, but It has been cleaned, pneumatically checked for cracks, de-primed, reamed, and roll sized/push through sized on commercial equipment. Good too keep some on hand for major matches, etc..
  4. Honestly, arguing accuracy concerns when talking about JHP pistol bullets from proven, quality manufacturers is a bit silly. The popular brands are all more capable (accuracy wise) than 95% of pistols and shooters. I'll say however, that PD has NEVER had an accuracy complaint regarding 9mm JHPs. Good JHPs just go where they are supposed to. But since we are talking about JHPs... here's a little teaser pic of the new ESPs (available soon) from PD.
  5. PD offers true once fired, processed brass. I don't think it's on the site currently. Need to fix that.
  6. Due to the way FMJs are manufactured, the base of the bullet has exposed lead. Conversely, JHPs have a jacketed base. Not an issue most of the time, but in high pressure Open guns, with comps, JHPs help prevent leading in the comp.
  7. Actually, If you go to the PD website and look in the bottom left hand corner of the home page, You can sign up for the newsletter.
  8. I hear ya. I'm the same way with emails. Going to try and do better about re posting them on IG. And thank you! We enjoy shooting with you guys. We need to get back up there soon.
  9. If you have purchased online before, you should get the weekly email blast. If not, PM me your email address. Sometimes I post the email add on IG.
  10. He noted the JHPs. No leading with a JHP.
  11. Last week, if you bought 4k (spent $300 or more) 124 JHPs, you could get them for $80/1000 shipped
  12. It should shoot great. One of my older Limited guns was an AET.
  13. As an FYI, PD is one of the official match ammos for Nats. If PD ships your ammo to the range, it is not subject to regular chrono procedure.
  14. I've shot Limited exclusively for a while. Several years, and have decent success with it. While my wife was pregnant, we weren't shooting as much, so I swapped to CO just for fun. I actually really enjoy it. I built the gun, took it to the MS Sectional a few days later, then shot the AR Sectional with it as well. Was lucky enough to win both. I was kind of learning as I went in the matches, but a 9mm with an optic on it was very intuitive for me. That being said, it's back to Limited for a while.
  15. Marks on the nose of .40 bullet in a 2011 are very rarely from the feeding process. It is usually caused by the bottom corner of the feed ramp hitting the top round in the magazine during the ejection process. 1.180 should feed reliably in a 2011. I know of several shooters that run 1.180" jacketed ammo successfully in SV Limted guns.
  16. Pretty much this. I used the same 5 STI mag tubes for 4 years and never touched them. Ran them in a few different guns. My current Limited guns will even run on my wife's 38SC mags. Good gun and good ammo, and mag "tuning" isn't a huge deal. That being said, I have a set of MBX mags that I'm using now, and they are perfect. I wasn't impressed with their first gen springs, but the mags are great now. Adrian made a believer out of me.
  17. PJB, Give PD a call if you are having issues, and I’m sure we can get it squared away before Nats. It would be very very odd that it chronos that low. I’ve seen 168ish out of some guns, but I shoot a LOT of this ammo, and have never come close to not making major at a match, but anything is possible. Mainly, I want to make sure your all set for Nats.
  18. Precision Delta is your answer. PD 147s is what you want. I shoot tons of it, and won the MS and AR sectional in CO with it. If you are local, come by the plant and I'll give you the nickel tour. And I'm sure Joseph will let you check out the Cruisers, ha.
  19. With the slide off, the safety will over-rotate. On some safeties, it is enough to move the surface that blocks the sear out of the way, and let the sear move.
  20. Has it been established what projectiles the OP is using? Small variances in ogive can absolutely affect OAL to this degree. Also, make sure you are not measuring high primers. I've seen guys not consistently seating primers below flush, and then drive themselves crazy because they cannot figure out why some rounds are measuring long.
  21. While not marketed as a defensive bullet, I’ve heard the Precision Delta 124 JHPs do expand pretty nicely Fired into calibrated 10% ballistic gelatin, through FBI spec “heavy cloth” barrier. 13” of penetration.
  22. Here you go! Tuned specifically for USPSA Limited, 2011s and Single Stacks. True jacketed bullet, 171PF, and very clean. Not to mention PD has new lower pricing. You really cannot beat it. http://www.precisiondelta.com/products/40-s-w-180gr-fmj-long-remanufactured-ammunition/
