I just picked up a Trojan in .45 to shoot in SS a little bit and am having trouble deciding on mags. I would like to run the no gap Dawson magwell with the Dawson basepads. Alot of the SS shooters here use either Metalforms or CM Power Mags, what do you guys recommend? Thanks!

Hey guys, just purchased a 625 to use in USPSA and would like some load recommendations for making major with the .45. I currently use Titegroup and Clays in other calibers and would like to be able to use on of those if possible to keep my powder selection small. thanks!

I switched to a Shadow after shooting an M&P Pro for a year in production. I found that with the heavier CZ and an 11# spring I was allowing the barrel to dip after the first shot and my followup would be lower every time. I switched to a 10# and it took care of the problem pretty well.

I'll be there, it wasn't mine that were doing it though, it was Josh Querins. However, Cliff was able to duplicate it with my 17rd. Mec-Gars although I couldn't. I'll be happy to let you take one of those and see what you think.

I was shooting with a friend last week and multiple times while making a reload the base pad would slide off of the front of his magazine while he was seating it in the gun. He was using factory 19rd. magazines, I was using 17rd. Mec-Gar mags and wasn't having any issues. Is this a common problem with the 19 rounders?

I am trying to find a 5" 625 for USPSA and ICORE and was wondering what the difference in the prefixes are after the model number (ie. 625-3, 625-8, etc) Are any better that others, any that I should avoid?

I'm new to the CZ platform but the rear sight seems to be a good bit higher than the Warren. I wonder if it is possible to run a sight with that low of a profile on the Shadow?

I love the small size and scalloped edges of the warren tactical sight on my M&P Pro and was wondering if anyone makes that style for the CZ. I purchased a Shadow from Matt Mink and it has the "tactical" rear right with the beveled edges but its still to large for my liking. If there aren't any warren style available is it possible to get a CZ sight cut to those specs? thanks!

I am currently loading 147gr molys with 3.7gr of N340 but am thinking of trying some of the Extreme plated bullets. Will the performance roughly remain the same if I stay with the 3.7gr of N340?

I currently load 3.7gr. of N340 under 147 Precision black bullets for my M&P. I am pleased with the load but was thinking of trying some SOLO 1000 due to the lower cost. How does the SOLO compare to the N340 when paired with the Precisions?

Looks like I may have to go with a North Mountain, spoke with Speed-e-Rack today and was told that they no longer make one for the 38 super due to variances in the moonclips. I told them that I would be using Hearthcos exclusively and so she is going to check and see if I can get one made.

decide on brass first....recommend starline....then tell David (Hearthco) what you are using and he will match it up. If you don't want to screw around, this is the way to go Is there a website or contact information for Hearthco?

Hey guys, I shot an ICORE match yesterday with a borrowed 625 and was hooked, now I know why they call us auto shooters in USPSA bottom feeders I went to the LGS today and they happened to have a new 627 in 38 super behind the glass, it promptly made its way to my truck. I have heard that I need to use HearthCo moon clips, where is the cheapest place to purchase these? Also what brass should do you recommend that I use with the moonclips? I plan on getting a speed-e-rack holder. Lastly, what loader/unloader do you guys recommend for the clips? thanks!

I think I will too, went with the small safeties like yours. The grip feels a little too small for me causing me to choke up on the trigger after the first double action shot, gonna need some thicker grip panels I think. LOL, I am already taking flak from the switch
