Thanks go out to all who helped make the 2009 East Coast Pro Am Championship a resounding success, the staff, the RO's and of course the shooters who traveled near and far to participate. We would also like to thank Phil Strader for letting us use his format and for his guidence in making it a memorable event. I think after receiving all of the favorable feedback on the championship we will run it in 2010. We will be sending out invitations to the match in early 2010 for all who participated in this years match, we will then open it ot the shooting community at large. We will be putting up a recap of the event in the next issue of the Steelmill. Old Bridge Rilfe and pistol Club will be holding indoor steel matches at the inddor range on Maple Street in Old Bridge NJ for the winter on the 1st Sunday of January, February and March. Willl be 4 stages, 4 runs on each stage. We will discuss adding an extra stage at the match based on ammo amounts. All ammo must be FRANGIBLE. There will 9mm and 45 acp ammo for sale at the matches. 9mm is 15.00 and 45 is 17.00 Sign up is at 8am start is at 9am Please contact john p at worldclasssteel.com if you are planning to attend. Thanks for the info Mike, We need to firm up a date for the match, would guess we are looking at 1st or 2nd weekend in may. Lets see if that will work. Would be a Sat. With set up on Friday with the ro's shooting and others late in the day.

Hi All, World Class Steel is contemplating running a Pro AM type Steel Champioship sometime in April or May 2009. Would be 6 or 7 stages, Pistol and Carbine Divisions, open and iron, 10 round rules to apply and payout thru WCS Lewis system. Looking to see what weekend would work. If you know any matches that would conflict please give us your input. Max entrants would be 120, fees 45 for 1st Gun 35 for 2nd gun. Also would there be any interest in it. Steel with movemnt and props.

World Class Steel will hold the 2009 Smith and Wesson Northeast Regional Steel Series Championship on June 5th and 6th at the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. There will be seven USPSA Steel Challenge stages along with side matches. Applications and more information will be up soon on the website at worldclasssteel.com

The 2008 Fields of Steel match will be Hosted at the Old Bridge Rilfe and Pistol Club in Old Bridge New jerse. 7 stages of knockdown steel over 200 targets to test your shooting skills and of course there will be john Perciballi's famous shooters raffle giving away guns as always. This weekend the NJ State IDPA Match was held at the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club. The match was great due to the fact that John Plum and Steve Sherman worked endless hours to pull this great match off. The organization of the match was the over the top. I cannot say enough of the SO's and all the others that helped throughout the weekend. Nice job guys and ladies, this is truly one match not to miss next year.

My heart goes out to his family,, Bill was truly a guy that cared about others and one that made a difference in the manny lives he touched. He will be missed and remembered by all of us. And at the end of day we can all say " he was a really nice guy" Rest in peace my friend.

Hi world class steel has a scoring program up and running, and as far as I know the only one out there,we let the steel nationals us it in 2007 and again this year. if you would like to see a copy to play with send me an email and i will get a trial version out to you. Hi Shooters, the Field's of Steel Match, the premeir knockdown match next to PSA, will be held on October 6th and 7th. Saturday will be pistol only 2 start times, with a max of 120 shooters total, and Sunday will be shotgun and pistol caliber carbine, 1 start max of 70 shooters. Separate entries for each gun. Alll the info, past pics and entry forms are on the website at worldcclasssteel.com The match will be hosted by the Old Bridge rifle and pistol club at the Outdoor ranges located in Old bridge NJ.. There will be 7 stages with 200 plus targets,,, from hosers to accuracy stages,,,, but the staff is partial to stages that are fun and exciting from new shooters to master class shooters. As always john p has worked his wonders and we are at 14 guns for the usual World Class Steel shooters raffle that you all have come to love, we are hoping for even more by match time. World class steel side match sunday june 10th will see the addition of a sniper centerfire rifle side match for this years match. Small targets at 100 yards. We asked the shooters for input and they asked for a precision side match, after much discussion with the staff it was decided on to add the sniper stage to the sunday side matches. Also FN will be sponsoring this stage and the pistol stages on sunday. So sight in those bolt guns and semi autos and lets see who is the best. Additional info will be fowarded to all registered competitors via email as soon as the side matches are finalized . Come on out shoot some of the side matches and check your scores from the 2007 SPEED on STEEL match which will be posted by 12noon sunday after the scores are entered on the WORLD CLASS STEEL SCORING PROGRAM, and finaled 1 hour later.
