  1. Nice video. Thanks for posting it.
  2. I am 65 and I also have very bad back problems. As long as I am standing straight I am fine, but if I need to bend or drop to the ground to shoot it becomes an issue. We had a stage at our local club were we needed to shoot one round on each target reload and place one more shot on each target. I was shooting my PCC GMR-15 and didn't have my Techwell magwell at this time. I put the first rounds down range then made my reload shot one shot and the magwell fell to the ground. Since I only had two mags loaded at the time I needed the one that fell to the ground. A stage that would have taken 12-14 seconds took 25 seconds to complete. I make sure I always have enough mags with me now. I enjoy competing and do not want to give up shooting, but I have cut back some.
  3. Great video! I always enjoy shooting at CASA!
  4. So far I really like my Boombah's. I have no regrets.
  5. I have had my 550 for nine years and this year I purchased a 650. I use the 550 to load 45 ACP and everything else is loaded on the 650. I found the 650 a little different than the 550, but once I got comfortable with the 650 loading is a breeze. I am very happy I picked up the 650.
  6. You might want to try Speed Shooters International out of Burbank, Ca. Here is a link to their grip section. http://www.speedshooter.com/category_list.cfm?ID=GP&Grips
  7. I have a JP GMR-15 and I am using Precision Delta 124gr JHP, 3.8gr VV N320, and Federal Small Pistol primers.
  8. I have been using Salomon and needed to order a size and half larger because I have wide feet. Even ordering the larger size my feet still hurt and the end of shooting a match. A fellow shooter had a pair of shoes that were not Salomon and I asked what they were. His shoes were Boombah's. I ordered the Hellcat Trail Shoes which cost only $59.99. They look great and fit my feet much better than the Salomon. Like the Salomon they come in different colors and styles. I shot a 12 stage match in them last weekend and my feet felt much better in the Boombah's. So far so good.
  9. Nice looking handgun. You made a good choice going with the steel grip. I have the steel grip on two of my CK Arms and love them.
  10. For me the MBX magazines have worked very well in my CK Arms Hardcore Open 9 Major. I could not be happier.
  11. I use a C-more Slide Ride 8 MOA dot. I put a spacer on mine to raise the sight up a bit. Has worked very well for me.
  12. I am running a C-More Slide Ride 8 MOA. This is the same as I have on my Open Gun.
  13. They have three available right now!!
  14. I just picked up a Mossberg 930 JM 24" model today at Deguns. They have 2 left if you are interested. https://www.deguns.net/product-p/85118.htm
  15. The range this match is shot at looks to be out in the country and not close to any major city. For those who shot there last year what hotel did you stay at. I am planning on shooting the match this year. Thanks
  16. I am running a n 8 MOA Dot on my C-More slide ride.
  17. Since I use the same red dot on my PCC rifle as I do my Open Gun which is a C-More Slide Ride I zero at 15 yds. The farthest we shoot at our local matches is 50 yds. Most targets are set from 5 yds to 20 yds.
  18. Shot this classifier this weekend. 3/10/18 Firearm - JP GMR-15 with C-More Slide Ride 8 MOA Division - PCC Class - B Time - 9.59 Points - 52 Hit Factor - 5.4223
  19. Thanks to all of you for your input. All this information helps a lot. I am currently shooting Precision Delta 124gr JHP with a power factor around 135. I also thought 3000-6000 was a short barrel life for a pistol caliber gun. I to have handguns with well over 10000 rounds in them and they are still shooting great.
  20. Please forgive the nubie question. I have a JP GMR-15 that I purchased from Shooters Connection last July. This rifle is becoming my favorite guns to shoot in USPSA. Up to this point I have put 2580 rounds through the rifle. I plan on only shooting PCC division this coming season. At our range we have two USPSA matches per mount with 6 stages at each match. Most of us shoot a 2nd so we shoot close to 384 rounds at each match. I also go to the range at least once a week to practice and will shoot 200 rounds. By the end of the year I should have well over 10,000 rounds through the rifle. JP's handbook states that most barrels will last between 3000 to 6000 rounds depending on how the rifle is shot. How often do most of you replace your barrels?
  21. I shoot Open with my regular glasses which have transnational lenses and have no problems.

I use Montana Gold and Precision Delta. Both work get. Precision Delta is a litter cheaper.
  23. I have had my 550 for eight years and about six months ago I purchased a new 650. I had a few growing pains getting use to the 650, but it is working get for my now. My thumb doesn't get numb using the 650 as it does with my 550. I still have my 550 which is setup to load 45 ACP at this time and I have had no problems going back and forth with each reloader.
