  1. Here is a link to Double Alpha Academy. You can order a left handed thumb rest here. https://www.doublealpha.biz/daa-adjustable-standard-thumb-rest
  2. I have a CK Arms with the steel grip and like it very much.
  3. There are several great rifles on the market for PCC. I run a JP Enterprises GMR-15 which is a great rifle. It cost a little bit, but it runs great. You also might want to look at Sig Sauer MPX, MBX Pro Series PCC rifle, CZ Scorpion EVO Carbine from CZ Custom Shop and CK Arms. I have seen all of these rifles run in competition and all perform well. Some of the competitors that have built their own rifles for PCC have had issues, but there are some that have built very good rifles.
  4. In Memphis we have several shooting PCC in our outdoor and indoor matches. We also have six shooters signed up for the Walking in Memphis match September 2.
  5. I shoot with a Masterpiece Arms 6.5 Creedmoor. This is an excellent rifle for precision rifle competition and there are several places you can purchase one at a much lower price than getting one from the manufacture.
  6. I sent a message to S&W and they are sending me a new firing pin.
  7. I upgraded my JP GMR-15 with a new upper with the side charger. This is my favorite gun.
  8. Your video on the PCC Classifier is a great video. When Chris the Match Director for the up and coming Walking in Memphis IDPA match and I were setting up the PCC classifier stage we did discussed your video. I have been shooting PCC Division exclusively in USPSA and believe it has improved my shooting which helped me make master in the IDPA Classifier. I still need to work a little bit harder to make Master in USPSA.
  9. After this weekends match some of us shot the IDPA PCC Classifier. I shot it in 54.83 seconds giving me my first Master classification.
  10. Thanks guy's. I will call S&W in the morning.
  11. Does anyone make an after market firing pin for a S&W M&P 15-22 Rifle?
  12. I shoot a GMR - 15 also and my fire pin broke this weekend at 3000 rounds. Ordered a couple for back up just in case.
  13. I would say it is an issue with your grip. Bob Vogel shoots a Glock 34 in competition and he stresses a strong grip on the gun. Here is a great video from Bob Vogel on griping your Glock 34.
  14. Here is what I have been running: 115gr JHP Montana Gold 7.8gr Autocomp C.O.L. 1.165-70 Federal Small Rifle Primers or 124gr JHP Montana Gold 7.1gr Autocomp C.O.L. 1.165-70 Federal Small Rifle Primers
  15. Shot this today: Division - PCC Gun - JP GMR - 15 9mm Time - 10.54 Points - 100 Hit Factor - 9.4877
  16. Several of the people I shoot with are using the Crimson Trace Rail Master with a Green laser.
  17. I really like my CZ 75 SP01 Accu Shadow. I fits my hand very well and is very accurate.
  18. I used Titegroup for years then a couple of years ago I switched to VV N320. The Titegroup was very smoky when using lead or coated lead bullets. VV N320 cost a little more, but will worth it.
  19. I am using Precision Delta 124gr JHP bullets. Powder is VV N320 with 3.8gr and C.O.L 1.125. Since you are going with the JP make sure your power factor is 125000 or higher. A shooting buddy got his new JP in and got 5 rounds stuck in the barrel before he figured out the bullets weren't coming out. JP told him that their barrel tolerances are very tight and most likely his power factor was not high enough to push the bullet through the barrel. Here is a link from JP on this issue.
  20. I have a GMR-15 and love my rifle. Enjoy your new rifle and take your wife out to dinner!
  21. I have a JP GMR-15. I use a C-More Slide Ride Railway with a click switch. My dot is an 8 MOA. I also use a C-More Tactical Spacer Plate on the C-More to raise the sight a bit.
