  1. Just picked up a used LEO glock 21, I left stock springs in and changed the stock connector to a 3.5 pound one. Shot about 50 rounds of 200 grain lead Semi wadcutter with 4.1 grains of bullseye at 1.24OAL functioned fine even during bill drill.
  2. Thanks for the comments looks like my best best is to decide if I want a single stack or double stack and have someone build it for me.
  3. My buddies have finally gotten me shooting some IDPA matches with them and I really enjoy it. I've gotten a glock 34 set up that is running really well but I sure do miss shooting a steel gun. I see a lot of single stack 1911s having all kinds of feeding problems and a lot of posts on this forum about feeding or ejection issues. My question is do the 2011 double stacks tend to have as many feeding or ejection probems as the SS? I'd like to get a reliable 9mm steel gun to shoot but I don't know if I should get a 1911 or spend the extra money for a 2011. And commets and suggestions would be appreciated.
  4. Anybody having problems with the Ed brown 45 cal 8 pack magazine base plates breaking? Had one break during a IDPA match blew spring out the bottom. I called their customer service and they said they didn't have any problems with them so I bought two replacement baseplates. When I got them they had changed the magazine design from a slot on bottom to hold the base plate to one like the chip mccormmick mags. Called Customer Service back and asked them if they weren't having any problems why did they change the design? Had to buy the older style baseplates, customer service not much help, I think these will get sold at the next gun show. thanks in advance.
