I have not done that before. I'll pm you. It functions, but loading it is a pitaHave you taken the release apart before? The spring might be sideways holding the release open. PM me if you need detailed on how to get the latch out. Does it function normally other then this issue? Is the lifter centered in the magwell?

I have the opposite problem. The lifter gets caught on a hook from the bolt release. Causing me not to be able to load rounds into the tube without holding the bolt releaseI have had my 930JM do the same thing. If i push the bolt release really hard (i think it travels to far and won't let the lifter come back down, then the bolt gets hung up on the lifter). It has only happened to me when releasing the bolt, not while shooting. I have thought about making the bolt release shorter, so this can't happen.

Let's see if I can describe this without taking pictures.
The lifter gets stuck below the bolt release, I have to depress the the bolt release to free the lifter.
Make sense?
What can I do to fix this problem?

Its not that hard, pay around with scrap material to get a feel for it

Its the only powder I currently have and I have tons of it. I know 5.8gr would get me around 1100fps with 115gr.
Anyone try it? and how did you like it?

I start with 800grit sand paper and more to 1000,2000, and 3000. After gettin a nice polish on what ever your working on, 3000 is all you need to bring it back.

Power Pistol is LOUD and had a tremendous flash in low light conditions. I've been slowly burn the remainder of my Power Pistol up and will not buy it again. Can't deal with the flash more than any function issues.
Thanks for the info, I have a ton of IMR4756 laying around, Im gunna test a load with 115 to 1100fps to see how I feel about it

Im running dawson's on my 9LCore and love them, plus you can shoot production if you like just by taking your optic off (in my case RMR)
Has the CORE been added to the Production list? If so, this is great news! The last I heard it wasn't legal for production.
It currently has not, I have contacted S&W a few times and I know a few others that have requested them send in the paperwork needed.
We are not allowing classifiers to be sent in on a core but we are pretty open to let people shoot it, I also shoot it in IDPA as a shoot what you carry

Modify your slide stop according to brazos instructions, both my STI's would premature slide lock with one round in the mags(round hitting the tang you file/dremel off)
Havent had any issues since

I've been loading 3.9-4.0gr of Bullseye under my 124gr bullets for about a year now and making 132pf in both my M&P 5" pro and 4.25" fs. OAL is 1.135 with a .377 crimp.
Titegroup is an excellent powder choice also. 3.9gr will easily make PF.
Dam, forgot about crimp. thanks for the heads up on what you use

Finally got around to setting up my xl650 for 9mm, 38super was the norm.
I am curious to see what everyone is running for say minor loads, I currently do not shoot production but plan on shooting IDPA soon as these two M&P's are carry guns.
The 5in model is a CORE with a RMR02 dot movement is not going to be an issue, the dam thing is always gunna move but I have come accustomed to getting the dot on track quickly.
4in is a pro series.
Really been looking at power pistol due to the fact of running lower gr's makes good velocity and more rounds per pound, but if there is something better please let me know.
I have a ton of MG 124hp's laying around so I'll load some of those and have a few cases of 115fmj's on the way.
Thanks in advance

Fluting also helps with heat, I had issues with my M&P9L CORE getting too hot. So we cut the slide, fluted the barrel, and ported it at the same time. now she stays nice and cool after long strings
Can we please see some pics?
Its honestly really close to what SAI does, without the overpriced job.

Run grams, I had TTI springs and followers and too many issues, not I run TTI basepads and grams internals

124gr MG, 8.3gr IMR 4756 at 1.225 is my load

Well I just got a 38 super Trubor and it has a little bit more dot movement than I am used to but it shoots soft . I noticed a few companies doing mods to the comp just wondering if they make a noticeable difference. Or is there a secret Trubor load or bullet weight I should be trying.
Im running MG 124hp, 8.2-8.3gr IMR 4756, 1.225oal out of my Trubor and love it, plus Im running a *thumb rest [generic]* as well.

Thank you for this post, just ordered some!

Shipping my CORE off to them either this week or next. Man am I glad I saw this post.
Ken Bird are you able to have them set the weight? or Is it how ever it comes out?
-
Well until parts come in its hard to tell if the mag was hitting the ejector or not, I will be ordering a few things today (some I have pushed off) but what the heck.....just get em in and get the gun where I want it
-
One or more of your magazines are hitting the ejector. You will most likely to see a mark on the offending mags.
Thats what I was guessing too, only used one mag when she bent so I'll look at it, ironically enough I was gunna order a new tuned one from you guys
-
is this a 9 or a 38? It looks like the case wasn't able to clear coming out and pushed it sideways. Was it a really hot load?
38 super comp 124gr MG HP, 8.2-8.3gr IMR 4756, CCI SR

over insertion of the mag?
No, I was only shooting one round out of a mag at a time
