I have owned my GP6 for some years. Ordered it from STI back in the day. Love it, however, shooting primarily 1911s, I find not quite enough bite (ledge) on the thumb safety. I would like a little more surface area so my thumb more easily, consistenly, catches and disengages the safety. Anyone know of a service or gunsmith that would modify the safety latch? --Sam
