Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Www.powdervalley.com Winfield,Kansas
  2. I load Berrys Double stamp RN 147grn and use 3.1 Solo 1000 and 3.3 grains Tightgoup . Both hit 138 power factor for IDPA.
  3. I went out and shot the ones that did not fit the gauge, nifty,BFF they all worked fine. Thanks for the replies.
  4. The gauge is new and clean, and was holding in my hand. OAL is all consistent crimp size is all the same according to mike. The base of the case is swelling ever so slightly once the bullet is being seating. That's what is going on but I do not know why.
  5. I have loaded about 15,000 rounds of 9mm since I got my press three months ago, no problems whatsoever. I swapped over to .223 and just loaded about 2500 rounds and then took the 9mm head that is dedicated for 9mm and swapped out the .223 back to 9mm. Started loading 9mm with same loads I had quit at 3.4 grains of Tightgroup and 147 grain Berrys RN Double stamped. checked powder and everything spot on just the way I had finished. Loaded up About 400 rounds and thought I better check them with the Dillon case gauge, they would not go all the down into the gauge stick up just a little past the head stamp. So I had loaded 1800 rounds and just finished running every shell through the case gauge, and about 400 of them would not go all the way in. So I take the bullet puller pull a bullet run ithe case through the sizer die and it drops right in the case gauge. Dump powder in it andseatthebullet then light crimp, and same as before won't go all the way in the case gauge. Anyone have any idea what's going on.
  6. I called Brian about about a month ago and ordered a 650 with all the bells. I called him Monday and placed another big order. I like his attitude towards his customers. Everything on both orders has been top notch. THANKS BRIAN
  7. This is my first post on the forum. It's been 32 years since I last reloaded a bullet. I have got back into shooting IDPA, and shooting steel. I love both formats because its always different. I used a Lyman Double a turret when I was PPC shooting and then moved onto a C&H progressive, then sold or gave away everything. Well the shooting bug hit me a couple of months ago and I contacted Brian E, and ordered a XL650 with all the bells. Brian was a great guy to visit with and shipping and delivery was great. I loaded up 2000 rounds of 9MM the first 3 days I had the press. The only shock was the cost of primers , bullets and powder that I used to buy 32 years ago. I think the 650 is one great machine, and I know Brian will stand behind it, but more importantly I know Dillon will stand behind it. I just ordered a Press monitor yesterday from Broken Arrow, OK, Do I need it? Of course not, but I will like looking at it while I am reloading and I wanted it. I am now thinking about the Mr. Bullet feeder which I am pretty sure I will order this week. What's the best place to get one? I will be at the Tulsa gun show the 12th of Nov and I am sure I will be buying more stuff I don't need. This forum is good reading, and helped me trying to pick out some loads for 9MM. I forgot how much fun reloading was Terry from Western Oklahoma
