  1. I had to fit my barrel, which is pretty tedious, but easy. Mine works without having to touch the extractor. I did use 9mm mags for it but did try a 40 mag (not fully loaded) and it worked surprisingly. I didn’t change the spring either. But my 40 spring is pretty well used and I should probably change it.
  2. Hey, I found want I wanted at the IpscStore. Hopefully it won’t take long to get here. ArmoryCraft carried a lot of grips and accessories, as that’s were I’m getting my trigger, and my charging handle. But I couldn’t find the purple button on their site.
  3. I see that cz custom sells the czechmate magazine release and it’s compatible with the TSO, but I also see that the A01 colored buttons are NOT compatible. So how do I get an Orange or Purple button for that mag release? Any vendor suggestions are appreciated. Thank you
  4. I bought an Armory Craft slide racker for my TSO (9mm) and I was wondering if anyone had theirs just slide in? Did anyone have to push theirs in? Mine freely slid in (and can slide out). Of course with the single set screw, it stays in place. But I was still expecting to push it in a bit. Thanks

    TS to CM

I want to do this! Just wondering if I would benefit from the compensator with off the shelf ammo.
  6. The TS feels big but fits, if you follow me. I wear size large gloves and it fits well. I think if it was a little larger it would be too big for me. But if it was Shadow 2 size it would need different grips. The shadow 2 is a little “skinny” to me. I would definitely need to get some grips that had a bit more palm swell to them. But the shadow 2 is still grippy with the aluminum grips, it’s just a comfort thing for me.
  7. I think a lot of people recommend extra slide stops. Grabagun has good prices on mags.
  8. i think they will b/c if there's no further discounts, they have a mechanism for that on their end. I tried to add a Zenith z5rs and it said no further discounts on their products. So if it took it, i think they will honor it.
  9. thanks for the link. may take Brownells a while though. i've pre-ordered from them several times and even after release, it can take them months. one time, they called me 1yr after i tried buying a Scar17.
  10. Man I want my TS to look like that black and gold camo one. It’s beautiful
  11. negative, the Trijicon screws are too big. they're at least a size up from the Zev screws.
  12. Does anyone know the length and thread pitch for the Zev Dragonfly RMR mounting screws? Apparently they don't include them when you buy the full gun but do include them if you purchase just the slide. The screws are $8 on their website and shipping is $6.90. I can probably buy 100 of those little screws for the same price at Fastenal. Anyone mounted their RMR on a Dragonfly care to help me out? Thanks
  13. I use Redding dies for my rifles. I just use the FL die and the seater. Eventually I will upgrade to the micrometer dies for rifle too. I have them for pistol and I love it. I have a Lee Factory Crimp die but don't use it. I have a lot of neck tension using Hornady 55gr fmj with cannelue. I've dropped and pushed the bullet tips and they don't move. Also with the Dillon RT1200, I don't chamfer the neck.
  14. i keep my RCBS Rockchucker around to develop loads. Once i test/chrono the loads, then i bulk load on a 650. i also pull bullets using the RCBS if needed. it's useful to have a single stage around.
  15. i run two 650's just b/c i am too lazy to switch over priming systems. but now that i shoot less, i think i can make due with one press. i have a complete backup priming system, so i wouldn't have to change over the priming disks, i would just have to switch over the primer punch, which to me can be a pain. if you shoot a lot, it's worth it to have two. i shot a lot of 9mm and 45acp when i was a member of a private range so i was constantly loading.
  16. i'm going to compare my Zev Glock 17 and a Salient Tier 1 G17 side by side and see which one i like more. i got my Zev new for a great price and want to see if the Salient is worth 2-3x's more.
  17. thanks guys! glad to be reassured i made a good decision. i'm going to try to take it out this weekend for some test firing and do some trap shooting with friends. after that, it will most likely be going to Triangle as i hear they're great.
  18. I just purchased a Versa Max Tactical, the non-Competition one. After doing some research on here about modifying the loading port and welding up the lifter, should I have saved my money and just purchase the Competition version? I'm using this shotgun for 3gun. it'll definitely be an upgrade from my Mossberg 500. i got this for about 80% off a retail model b/c it was a display model. So i considered it a good deal, but maybe i should have just held out on a used Competition model. The Comp model has a different choke, carbon magazine tube, different safety, and some other minor work. Would i be better off getting the load port opened up and the welded lifter from a professional anyway? Thanks!
  19. yes it feeds primers, the arm that holds the safety rod for the powder drop is shorter than the new one though.
  20. ok, so i have an old Dillon 650, it had the old style platform that was made of steel. i had upgraded to the new aluminum platform. well I bought a new primer system so i don't have to change the primer plates anymore. i noticed the new primer system has an aluminum base too. is there any reason i should get rid of my old steel primer system and stick with the new aluminum primer system? thanks in advance.
  21. if you contact dillon, they will send you a new platform, and an alignment tool. i had the old style platform and they sent me the parts for free. i forgot why i had to contact them about it, but i did have an issue and when we were both diagnosing it, the tech told me i had the old platform and just sent me the parts to install. great customer service.
  22. I honestly do not know. I don't have access to a private range anymore and shoot solely at an indoor range now and can't set up my chrono. I haven't seen any signs of high pressure. primers look good, brass is fine, and ejection is normal out of my guns. it's a load that functions great in my MP5 suppressed and unsuppressed, and it's still light enough that in my Zev glock, i don't have issues with recoil. oh, accuracy is good too. one day, i do intend to chrono all my loads again, i just have to find a range that will let me setup my chrono.
