  1. I've had that occur when my springs were getting weak, replaced them and all better.
  2. +1 on the delta being reliable. I have had a first gen on my S&W 500 for a few years and many thousands of rounds and it still holds zero.
  3. Check out Roze distribution. They have great prices on jacketed and hollow points and their great quality. I shot 5k of them last season from open gun and found them to be very accurate.
  4. I went from a plastic grip svi to a all steel caspian and I definitely prefer the steel. It feels like the weight of the gun is in your hand VS on top of your hand. But, that is no small chunk of change to commit to an unknown factor for you. I suggest trying out someone else's before dolling out the $'s.
  5. ^I've actually had to use the sharpie on the optic trick before, it works...kinda. But, to the original topic, more pew, pew=more party.
  6. I've also had issues with light strikes and the CCI primers. They seem to run a little thicker than most.
  7. S&W is also offering a $100 mail in rebate, according to Cabela's website.
  8. The Dawson I have on my open gun has another benefit of funneling my hand further up on the grip. It gives a nice firm grip but YMMV.
  9. I clean the extractor channel every third cleaning or so. It is definitely a dirty, dirty hole.
  10. I had the opposite problem: the mag wouldn't fall out. The release was a bit too long and would drag on the mag.
  11. +1 If your stock barrel is running decent wear the thing out first.
  12. My first gen M&P 9 would only shoot lead 147's, everything else was all over the place. Keep experimenting.
  13. ^^I do this all the time at work. Try do develop dexterity with my off hand. It works.
  14. Oh yeah, open carry for my open Caspian would definitely lower crime rates:)
  15. Camera lens pen has become a staple in my match bag.
  16. Did you ever get it figured out?
  17. Be careful with the brake cleaner, they are not all created equal.
  18. +1 for the hobby shop. My local has them in a variety of tooled heads and head sizes.
  19. Going to be testing Autocomp in mine soon (running out of HS6). I can post results if you are interested.
  20. Brass scars on your forehead just give you mo' betta street cred
  21. Be different and old school, buy a Caspian.
  22. just use the old waffle cooker, same way the first Nike shoes were made.
  23. ^^ probably doesn't even work anymore, go ahead and send it to my house.
  24. PSST... don't tell anybody, but 9 major is usually achieved by loading way over SAAMI specs (for safety). 9 major + 38 super barrel = certain death.
  25. Every gangsta shoots a "9" But bragging at the bar after the match and saying "it's a 38 super comp" sounds way cooler.
