  1. Rob, Can you send a pic of your holster for the Q5? Did your Q5 fit it well? I ordered a replacement from RHT, but if it is not too late, I will cancel and take yours. I can just refund your PayPal and we are even. I do need to know the colors, though. Let me know. Your holster left today, US Mail, priority. Should be there Wednesday. Marc Ward 314-750-5968
  2. I have a Romeo 1 and it turns on and off automatically. Nice feature. Do any other red dots have this feature? I am looking to put a new optic on my new Q5 Match.
  3. I had a Grand Power, liked it quite a bit. Just a challenge finding cool aftermarket stuff for it. Glock Fan Boys have ll the fun.
  4. I have used a Sig P320 RX with the Sig Romeo 1 optic. Now I want to add an optic to my Walther Q5 Match. The Romeo was fine, but it had a 3 moa and I do not think it was adjustable. Maybe it was, but either way the one I shot was set at 3. My aging eyes would kind of like a little bigger, easier to pick up dot. I like the Auto On/Off function, so I would like to have that in my new one. I only shoot steel plates for fun, USPSA and IPSC on the local (fun match) level. Definitely not expecting to get to GM status any time soon (or even in this life), but I love the challenge and want to get better. I belong to a club where I can go shoot steel (outside) any time I want, and I have the time and the money, so I thought I would get an optic and learn how to shoot that. The Q5 is new to me, so I am thinking that rather than spending lots of time learning the gun with iron sights, I should get my optic soon and learn them both at the same time. Any suggestions and ideas would be warmly received.
  5. It is amazing to me how I can try so hard to prepare and visualize the course of fire and then forget to engage some targets. This game is so mental...that is why I love it.
  6. Large Osage River at Amazon would be a good choice, too.
  7. I like Kryptek Large Range Bag which is at Cabela's and on Amazon.
  8. I guess that is what I have to do. Or wait until I get 50 posts and put it up for sale here.
  9. I bought a P320RX Full Size and a Red Hill Tactical Sig competition holster. I got the holster in Carbon Fiber color with red color interior. I also bought the red drop. This is the model I purchase and the website where you can see it. REDHILL TACTICAL. It says it is kydex. It fit my gun perfectly. Problem is, I then sold the Sig and bought a Walther Q5 Match. I was hoping the Q5 would fit the holster, but no such luck. So, since I have no use for this holster, do you think I could use my Q5 as a mold and try to "re-mold" it with heat to fit the Walther? Any other options, thoughts?
  10. Do you reload? What primers are you using?
  11. Mine did, too. I thought it would not drop free, so I ordered the "drop free" mag brake with the gun. When it arrived, the stock set up dropped free just fine. Never had a problem. Plus, I have a back up mag brake!
  12. +1 Very similar to my set-up. Very happy with it.
  13. Worth the wait. Donnie helped me work up loads when I first started reloading. I was nervous and he helped me immensely.
  14. N320 has been my fave for awhile. I only have experience with 147 grain bullets (Bayou and Berry's). For a more wallet friendly option, I have been happy with Clays, regular old Clays.
  15. I use Berry's 147s over 4 gr of Clays. Love it.
  16. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and it shipped yesterday. The wait was not too bad. I am taking the day off tomorrow, gonna hit the range.
  17. and it will be here on Wednesday. I had to buy it sight unseen, of course. But, did it on faith. I can't wait to try it out. $1,200 is a lot of money for a weekend hobbyist, but it keeps me out of the bars. This is the one I ordered:
  18. Is Zero Bullet wholesale only? I have been looking at the website I found (http://www.zerobullets.com/) and I can't find any pricing. Is this the wrong place?
  19. For USPSA production (CZ 75 D PCR COMPACT)I have been using Berry's 147s over 4 gr of Clays. Very nice, but the price difference over Bayou Bullets is not worth it...will go back to Bayou bullets after the Berry's is gone.
