Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have two riser mounts, one on a progressive, one on a T-7. I also have ergo handles for both and Acro bin closures. I have not been disapointed in any way.
  2. I have several inlinfab products including a mount, two ergo handles and the acro bin inserts. I prefer the inlinefab mount over the Dillon because of the larger footprint. I have never been disappointed with their products. If they make it for your press, it is worth consideration.
  3. polizei1 Thanks for the pictures, I now understand the ski-jump modification. I'm going to do it.
  4. I needed the small knurled nut on the de-capping die. By e-mail correspondence, I arranged for one to be sent. It took a little over a week
  5. Carl, soneome culd mak a tipografical airor how wood you no? Get a manual or two, read them, this is the path to reloading enlightenment, not the internet.
  6. Good advice. The turret is a great start, it let's you watch each stage to start and move up your speed at your pace. Eventually the 650 or RCBS Pro 2000 are worth close consideration. I ended up with a 650 after watching friends with both. Both are 5 station, the 650 is auto-advance while the 2000 could be either. I didn't care for the APS primer system on the RCBS. Personal preference without a single fact to backup the preference. When summer comes, welcome back to Kentucky!
  7. Brian says don't think about buying a 650 without a case feeder. Why is that?
  8. I guess I didn't use the proper search term, any way I appreciate the help. I took the least aggressive approach, lightly sanding the punch; it appears to work after several rounds of .38 cal. If I have more trouble, I'll get more aggressive with the tip and "hypo" the tip. Thanks
  9. I have been having a problem that I have not read about. When sizing and de-priming on 550 the de-priming rod pushes the spent primer out. Then it appears the primer is attached to the rod and pulled/pushed back up into the case. The spent primer has an outward bend from the rod pressure. It is a frequent occurrence but it has no discernible pattern. I have used both CCI and Federal Match primers but after shooting all spent case end up in the same bucket, so I can't tell which is which. Any thoughts?
  10. I have this setup, it takes some getting used to but for me it was worth doing. Who makes a reliable 9mm seating / crimping die? Thanks! RCBS

  12. RCBS Powder check in station 3 and an RCBS seat/crimp die in station 4. Its a little awkward at first but it works for me.
  13. http://ultimatereloader.com/2010/09/21/rcbs-lock-out-die-part-ii-setup-and-maintenance/ This got me going in the right direction. I, too, use this die in #3.
