Has anyone tried loading 8.6gr, 124 cmj, HS6 powder with an oal of 1.74? Is this too much and will my STI trubor handle this load? Thanks!

I messed up the orig grip on my STI trubor by shaving it down too much then stippling it. The grip became weak and its caving in when you're trying to release the mag. Nothing was changed/added except for the grip. Aside from the mag release button getting stuck, the actual mag also gets stuck that you have to pull it out hard to get it out.

Nice grip! What kind of grip is that? Did you just put a grip tape or is that a silicone carbide?

Hey guys! I recently purchased an STI stippled grip online. I put it together and noticed that when you load the mag, something is catching and doesn't go in smoothly. Aside from that, when you press the mag release button, the screw on the other side turns and the mag release button eventually gets stuck. Seems like the groove inside where the spring of the mag release button locks, is not aligned. Has anyone had this prob? Should I send it back to the place where I bought the grip from or send it to STI since it's an orig STI grip that was modified? Thanks!
