  1. Definitely an advantage for long range slug targets
  2. FYI Osage County Guns has the grips on sale right now. Also, free shipping is a plus.
  3. I believe that it was recently posted in the BIG Xfive thread
  4. How do you remove the weight, just pull it out with a needle nose pliers?
  5. A mid barrel comp works best for shotgun. By the time the gas makes it to the muzzle, not as much there, as mid-barrel

Has anyone that has both the Legion, and Xfive done an accuracy comparison?
  7. Yes, that’s the correct kit. you can try their striker spring I have them in SOME M&Ps, but went back to the stock striker springs on a couple, due to light strikes. Apex told me NOT to use their sear spring inw2.0, but, haven’t had any issues with it, so it’s staying in.
  8. I was running SNS 147 grain out of both of my Xfives, and didn’t have any leading. I switched to “green” Bullets, because the owner gave me some to try, and they are more accurate in MY Xfives, than the SNS Bullets, and I don’t get any leading with them either. That said, my PCCs, are a pair of Sig’s, and I will only run jhps or plated Bullets. Same goes for my “open” guns.
  9. I think that if you just go with plastic basepads, and remove the magwell, you should make weight
  10. Might be the other way around. The F12 was out before the VR80
  11. I have one with less than 50 rounds through it, but, I'm guessing you live in a different country.
  12. Not to mention that it will be almost impossible to get apart

No, I haven’t. When I ordered the trigger kits, I ordered the straight trigger because that’s what I run in my open & limited guns, but, now that I think about it, they are all the shortest inserts SV makes

Thanks for the information. I’m hoping that at some point they offer a slightly smaller version. I can barely reach the trigger on my Xfives

Is the new grip, the same size as the original Xfive grip?
  16. Lefty loosely-righty tighty (or, counter-clockwise to back out)

In 20k rounds, have you noticed any difference in accuracy? My past experiences with plastic guns has been that accuracy got worse, with the more I shot them. I only have about 1K on my "backup" and maybe 2-3k on my primary, and with loads they prefer, still group about an inch, at 25 yards. I've never shot an all metal gun enough to lose accuracy, with the exception of one AR15 that lost the first 6" of it's rifling.
  18. I wouldn’t accept that reliability either. you could break the edge of the barrel, or you could send it in for warranty. It’s possible that the magazine isn’t centered with the barrel

I originally had a Romeo 3, on one Xfive, and a Romeo 1, on the other. Both had 3 MOA dots. I liked the larger window on the Romeo 3, but I’m a little color blind, and had problems seeing the dots on both optics. I tried a Romeo 1, with a 6 MOA dot, and it’s about the brightest dot I’ve ever seen, so now I have them on both of my Xfives. I bought both through Planet Optics.
  20. I run 3.3 grains of Sport Pistol, behind SNS 147 grain flat points @1.142”, for bigger matches because I want plenty of cushion at the chronograph, but, I know that my velocities weren’t as high as yours. I chronoed both Sig Xfives, and M&P Pro, with Apex, gunsmith fit barrel. All 3 are 5”.
  21. Did you maybe have them loaded really short? That would explain higher velocity
  22. I remember going to a Lake of the Ozarks match, several years ago, with a M2 Benelli that only had the factory, double beads on it. I knew exactly where it shot, with slugs, out to 100 yards, but, they had an “iron maiden” target at like 175 yards. Imagine my surprise when I just held high, and hit it on the first shot!

Interesting It might make weight for IDPA. I don’t remember if USPSA requires a certain number sold, to be legal for carry optics, like they do for production?
