  1. I've used one for 10+ years now. Other than a zipper coming loose, ( I used the bag as a rest for my .223) the bag has held up really well.
  2. Look at Henning Group and MBX Extreme followers. I think they have them for your CZ. I just ordered a couple yesterday for my P10F Comp Ready pistol. They claim to be able to fit 24+1 in the mag with that combo and still be legal with the 140mm mag size.
  3. Been using the FCD in my XL650 for years without issue. I've never had a problem with it at all.
  4. They should just rename LO to "The Staccato Division"
  5. Just curious. Just got a P10 F Competition ready. Installed W74 Tungsten Guide rod and Taylor Freelance Brass Backstrap. Unloaded, the gun weighs 2lbs. Loaded, with dummy rounds the gun weighs 2 lb 12.3 oz
  6. At the end of the day, USPSA is just a game. No matter what the rules are, people are going to find a loophole or a way around them. Limiting the magazine to 15 rounds is nonsense. My CZ mags are 19 rounds from the factory. I have one Henning +2 extension on my primary mag. All three of my other mags are factory with the gold basepad (P10F Comp Ready) with 19 rounds. Reloads...unless you're shooting open, most stages are going to require a reload in CO. So why drop the mag capacity to 15? Gamers are going to game!
  7. I've never shot at Volusia, but I've shot a lot at OK Corral. Alejandro puts on a really good match.
  8. I'll have to look at this video. Different gun, but my brand new P10F competition ready trigger isn't always resetting. I have it going back to CZ for warranty. It has a different trigger bar.
  9. 6/19/23 Live fire training at the range again today. Worked on Ball and Dummy again. 13 yards on a plate rack. I didn't miss a single plate that had a loaded round. Once again, had 10 dummy rounds and 10 live rounds in my pocket. Loaded each mag with 2-3 rounds randomly without looking. Here's what I noticed today: I'm noticing that my grip pressure affects the dot. When I have the proper grip pressure, the dot doesn't move! When I get a little soft in my grip, the dot wants to move left as I pull through the wall on the CZ. The trigger pulls looks good. If anything, the dot will travel down slightly on soft grip shots. The dot is not going down and right. I'm really seeing the dot lift after the shot and I'm beginning to call my shots on the trigger pull. My trigger prep was good after the shot too! I noticed that after the shot and the dot raised up, I was already looking at the next plate. The bad: CZ trigger wasn't always resetting. Called CZ and started a warranty claim! Hopefully, it's only gone for 2 weeks.
  10. 6/18/23 Practice session/Sight in verification. Worked on ball and dummy drills from 10 yards. Put 10 live rounds in my pocket along with 10 dummy rounds. Randomly pulled out two rounds and loaded them into a magazine without looking. (Bay I was on only had 2 plates on the plate rack ) I used the same profile bullet for both dummy and live ammo. Confirmed zero on the Holosun at 25 yards. I then worked on 25 yard ball and dummy drills on the plate rack again! I figured out that I have to use the first joint on my finger for the correct trigger pull on the P10F. Any other part of my finger causes the gun to jump left.
  11. Within the last two weeks, I got a P10F competition ready CZ. I put in a Taylor Freelance Brass Backstrap, W74 Tungsten guide rod and spring and a Holosun 507C Green dot on it. Only issue is the trigger hasn't always reset. CZ had me clean the disconnector. Part of the issue could have been the bunny fart PCC loads I was using. I only have 150 rounds through it right now. I'm working on load development as we speak.
  12. Where I shoot, they use PVC for boxes. I stand on the back of the box for outer limits. I can make two steps forward and be in the middle box.
  13. You're ranked within your division (Limited, Production, Open, etc) within the divisions, you have shooters ranging from GM to D. Here's the breakdown according to % The USPSA Classification System Grand Master 95 to 100% Master 85 to 94.9% A Class 75 to 84.9% B Class 60 to 74.9% C Class 40 to 59.9% D Class Below 40%
  14. 6/12/23 I took out the new P10F OR gun to shoot for the first time today. What a disaster! I'm such an idiot. I brought my 3.1gr 124gr RN rounds to shoot. These rounds are for my PCC! I knew they wouldn't cycle the gun correctly, but stupid me, I decided to give it a go anyway. Every round stove piped in the gun, or wouldn't eject. I had to do so many racks on the slide, that I have a blister on my thumb. Back to load testing...I loaded up 3 test loads to try. 1) 3.4gr Titegroup 2) 3.6gr Titegroup 3) 3.8gr Titegroup All are mixed brass with CCI500 primers set to approximately 1.10 OAL My thoughts are the 3.6gr will probably be the ticket. I'll end up running the chrono after determining the best load. I also put the gun in a vise and ran a bore laser at 20 yards to set the Holosun dot. This should get me close in sighting in. Steel match Saturday will have to be with the PCC. Afterwards, I'll do the load testing.
  15. Stoeger had some on his site earlier. They won't last long.
  16. Looks like a great holster. Looking to Upgrade my safariland 578. The 578 is great, but I occasionally miss the button on the draw. The Hydra will allow me to unlock before the draw. The Hydra P with the Range Panda mod looks like a winner and with some mods, I'll be able to attach it to my QLS. If only Ghost had it in stock in Left Handed. Now the notorious waitlist for back in stock.
  17. 6/11/23 Another day of dry firing. Not a totally long session, but I had some moments. I'm still occasionally missing the draw. My finger isn't always depressing the GLS button. Here's the drills performed today Drills performed today: Sight Picture Confirmation 10 slow motion 10 no par time 10 .2 over par (1.50) 10 .1 over par (1.40) 10 @ par time (1.30) 10 .1 under par time (1.20) 10 yard surrender 5 no par time 5 .2 over par (1.70) 5 .1 over par (1.60) 5 @ par time (1.50) 5 .1 under par time (1.40) I went back to putting my index fingers on my glasses for the surrender position. This gives me a consistent starting point each and every time. Reloads 12 slow motion 12 no par 12 @ par time (1.20) 12 .1 under par (1.10) reloads were very slow today. Not sure why! Need to keep pushing Enter the box 10 enter and draw. (1.60) I need to also work variants of this drill. (Surrender, Facing Uprange etc) Walk the triangle Not a lot done with this drill today. Harder than I remember No par time just trying to get the feel of the drill. Now to try and find a decently priced competition holster for the P10F comp ready in left handed.
  18. If I'm not mistake, the screws are M3x6mm Here's a link to them https://chpws.com/product/replacement-screw-kit-cz-sdw2-rsh-gdt/
  19. Try Everglades Ammo. They have 124gr HP's that look like they might work. https://www.evergladesammo.com/bullets/handgun-bullets.html?caliber=43&grain_weight=180
  20. 6/10/23 Embrace the suck! After dinner, and working 14+ hours yesterday and 10 hours today. I donned the gear and started a modified dry fire session. Still trying to get used to the optic. I feel like I have to drop the barrel of the gun down when presenting the gun from the draw. Drills performed today: Sight Picture Confirmation 10 slow motion 10 no par time 10 .2 over par 10 .1 over par 10 @ par time 10 .1 under par time All in all the draw is getting smother, but every now and then, I don't fully depress the safety release and miss the draw. 10 yard surrender 5 no par time 5 .2 over par 5 .1 over par 5 @ par time 5 .1 under par time I went back to putting my index fingers on my glasses for the surrender position. This gives me a consistent starting point each and every time. Turn and Draw 5 no par time 5 .2 over par 5 .1 over par 5 @ par time 5 .1 under par time I need to remember to snap my head first, then spin my body and draw. Reloads 12 slow motion 12 no par 12 @ par time 12 .1 under par I decided on twelve because if I carry three mags, It lets me cycle through each mag 4 times. Enter the box 10 enter and draw. I started getting really tired and I was getting sloppy, so it was time to quit. I remembered to put my weakside leg back and my strongside leg forward. This keeps my gun and holster in a stationary and consistent position in which to draw from.
  21. Are the magazines new? Are you using a loader or by hand? Have you disassembled the mags? If using a loader, press down harder to get the last round in.
