I've been looking for some bulk ammo for my AR & MSAR.....anyone have any recent experience (good or bad) with the Georgia Arms 55gr canned heat ???? The previous posts about the KABOOMS has me a little skitish about them....can't afford to blow up either of these very expensive rifles !!!! Thanks

Yep, my Flak jackets were only $60 I placed an order with them about a month ago for a pair of boots, Half-Jackets, and a M-Frame replacement lense.......got the entire order 7 days later !!!!! Now, I placed an order last night for a couple more things......it will probably take 2 months !!!!!

I sold a really nice M3 (ghost rings, 7+1 factory tube) about 3 years for $850 + shipping, which is the same price I had paid for it 7-8 years earlier.....

Heck....I don't think I've ever put any oil on the inside of my M2 !!!!!!!!!!

Well....it started about a week ago. I started having an uncomfortable feeling in my lower back. Being a police officer for the past 12 yrs, I wrote it off to wearing that 25 lb. belt every day for so long. The pain seemed to come and go a lot, but if I moved just right or twisted my torso....it was still there. This past Saturday at out club match, I noticed the pain again. A couple of times I had to bend over and stretch my back, thinking this would help...but it didn't. Flash forward to Tuesday. The discomfort becomes a constant dull pain in my back so I decide to get it checked out. I called a good friend of mine who is a Dr. and he got me right in. They did a quick urine sample, which didn't reveal anything at the time, but he said this did not always rule out the possibility of a kidney stone. So, he got me worked in for a CT scan, which revealed that I have 2 stones...both of which are still lingering in my kidney. Just floating around causing pain when they want to. Oh yeah!!! The real pain hasn't started yet. I'm a ticking time bomb waiting to go off !!! I forgot to add that this is my 2nd round of stones. About 13 years ago I had an attack that appeared out of no where while sitting in a college class. By the time I could get to my truck, I was throwing up from the pain...the only time anything like that has ever happened. Those stones were so big that I could not pass them on my own. I had to have a prcedure called Lithotripsy, where they lower me in a huge tub of water...then pulvorize the stones with sound waves. The bad part: I still had to pass all of the particles. it was like pissing cuckle burrs !!!! Oh well....I sure some of you have had similar situations......Get out the popcorn and lets here your stories......

I had a Rock River a few years ago that I sent to JP for the entire fire control group.....and it would do the same thing.

The whole stock on the sturnum technique was developed to take advantage of body armour. When you are in a gun fight & wearing armour, you want to keep your shoulders square to the bad guy to present as much of the armour surface to possible in-coming rounds. Also, the armour helps to disperse the recoil over your entire torso and not just the center of your chest. By staying square to the target, you also expose less of the sides of your body, which are not protected as well by armour. I suppose you could use this technique with an AR, but I wouldn't want to do it without a heavy vest on. A good squared-up, forward aggressive stance is all you need with the AR. Just my opinion, of course.

I shot on the same squad with these guys at the MultiGun Nationals.....great bunch of guys, always good for a laugh about something. I think they called themselves the "Sierra B-Team" !!!! Jim said he got the truck in New York, if I'm not mistaken.

We need video. And what are the 8 second timers for? It's for the gun rack.....When you press the hidden release button, you have 8 seconds to get the gun out or it locks back again..... Ken...Is that a D.A.R.E. car or some other special service vehicle ???? If that's a regular patrol vehicle, I'm applying at your department !!!!

A big part of your dilema is probably mental. No, I'm not saying you're any crazier than the rest of us.....but you feel comfortable with the Glocks and that is your "safe place". Give the Eagle some time....it will grow on you. FWIW, I carry a Glock(because I have to) every day at work....but if it was time for the big shootout-I'd rather have my Edge with me !!!!!

Peter's comment is spot on with one I received from a guy on the Sniper Hide Forum. The link is www.triggertamer.com. Be careful with this modification. Installing it on your MSAR will VOID your factory warranty. I talked to MSAR directly about this. If you ever have to send your rifle in for repairs, you'd better remove the T.T. first !!!!

I too have been in L.E. for over 12 years....SWAT for the last seven, team leader for the last two years. I believe that USPSA is a good way to judge your abilities in a stressful situation. Everyone knows what happens when the timer goes off and you don't have your game plan engrained in your mind....the timer sucks your brain out !!! Now imagine lining up with 4 other guys to enter in to an armed bad guys house: when that door opens it's like the timer going off. No, it's not a game...but you have got to react to an ever changing, unpredictible environment and do it without hesitation. Standing on a flat range, with stationary targets at 3, 7, 15, and 25 yards in no way can prepare you for a real life situation.

Well, you guys won't believe this.....but we had the Grand Opening at a new station yesterday where they advertised that they would cut the cost of their gas for 24 hrs. Another station right up the street kept "one-upping" them, and by midnight last night they had gas down to .99/gal !!!!!! You would not believe the lines on the street......bad thing is, my tank was already full..... Now their prices are back to normal.....mid 1.30's

What about the woman that was missing ??? They were questioning the boy, telling Dutch he was a suspect, and then they kind of dropped it. Remember back a couple seasons ago when Dutch-boy killed that cat ??? I kept waiting for him to be outed as a killer !!!! Did I miss something in the finale or am I still in shock from what Shane did ???
