  1. Ask and ye shall receive......
  2. I can't believe no one has thought of this one.......the wanna-be gangsta that ends every sentence with " You know what I'm sayin' ???". I was testifying in court one time against one of these guys, and the Prosecutor asked him if he could refrain from using that phrase in every sentence he spoke !!!! It was hillarious !!!!
  3. I'm not familiar with their current pistols (either company), but 10-12 years ago I had a 92FS and a PT99(?) and the barrels would swap out with no problem.
  4. " At any rate....." There is a local radio DJ that uses this phrase so often it's annoying.....you could make a drinking game out of his use of this phrase !!!!
  5. Lets see: -Beretta -Taurus (berretta copy, but could start cocked & locked) -S&W 66 -numerous Para's -Glock a couple times -and finally STI....
  6. black '87 Chevy Silverado. The last year for the square body style, first year for the fuel injected 350. That thing was a beast !!! Three years later I wrapped it around a natural gas main at about 80mph. Yea, I believe in miracles !!!!
  7. Anyone used one of these B.A.D.'s while wearing gloves ??? Just curious if there is enough clearance for bulky gloves or if they might/could cause a malfunction.
  8. I showed the video to the guys on my SWAT team at training a couple weeks ago.....and they all cried BS. We use Glock 22's & 35's, and everyone tried it to no avail. I tried to be supportive of the ninja, but you just gotta know the guys I work with. Their belief is "If we can't do it, no one can !!"
  9. AR 15 Compensators. Help control recoil and muzzle rise... Oh Come on Merlin....give me a little more credit than that......
  10. OK, let me express my ignorance.....and some tell me what the hell those pictures are of ????
  11. Some of my favorite stress relieving methods: (besides shooting) -Golf -Hearing the Hemi in my car growl -#8
  12. +1 for the double-ended Peltor plugs.... The yellow end provides good protection when you are not on the line and lets you still talk to others. The green end I use when actually shooting...even works good for compensated rifles !!!! (bring on the double-ended plug jokes... )
  13. I'M HEADED FOR MY THIRD CUP RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!
  14. You could probably attach anything that would fit on that barrel and not effect the accuracy for the range you speak of.."10 to 50 yards" .....
  15. I usually have my 3 cups of home-brewed Starbucks before I leave home, then stop and get a 1 liter Mt. Dew for caffine-maintenance during the match. I tried the 5 Hour energy drink a while back.....for a match and once for golf....didn't work well in either case.
  16. You know you're contradicting yourself here --- and putting everyone else on the range in danger, right? A better plan would be to bag the gun between stages, or get a better holster. Safety rules are designed to offer redundancies; breaking one gets you closer to having a potentially fatal accident. Is $2,000 really worth that level of risk? No further comment, so I don't violate the guidelines.
  17. As far as the original senario....your gun falling from the holster while setting steel or reaching to pick up a pepper-popper while you are not actively involved in shooting the stage: I'm catching my gun !!! I truely understand the "always loaded" golden rule and respect that...but I know it's not loaded, the RO that cleared me on the last stage that I shot knows it's not loaded...and I don't want my $2K limited gun hitting the ground ! Bring on the Ice Cream !!!
  18. Hate that I'm missing such a great match this year......always a good bunch of folks running the show, then there's Hyden to deal with....HAHA Y'all have fun...Looks like nice weather for the end of August.
  19. Thanks....I thought I had seen something on here about them. I DID a generic search for ACOG and these posts did not show up.
  20. Hey Guys and Gals.... Anyone here have any experience with these newer reticles from Trijicon ??? I've been looking at them on-line, but have not seen one in person. Just curious how well they perform on the up-close targets....7 to 15 yard range. Will it slow you down over a non-magnified red dot ??? I currently use a Leupold Mk IV 1.5-5x and don't have trouble with the 1.5 power on up close stuff....but not sure about the whole BAC thing.... I know, I know.....I need to try someone's. But I can't hardly think of anyone around here that has an ACOG....
  21. I must have just been lucky with my picks.....but both benellis that I have had will shoot anything I put in them in a factory stock configuration....first a M3, then later I picked up a M2. From the lightest bird loads to Remington Reduced Recoil slugs and buckshot, they both run like they should... I've really considered the lightened bolt in the past, just never got around to doing it....
  22. Thanks a bunch...I didn't want to wade-off in to this thing and tear something up.
  23. Hey Guys & Gals..... I've got a C-More Railway and I'm trying to remove the Railway base....so the put the sight on a Tactical base with the built in rear sight for an AR..... How the hell does it come off ??? When I look at the bottom of the c-more, I see two holes that appear to have bolts coming thru....but the are coming from the inside to the out....nothing to grab to remove them. Help me out here guys....I figure there are more folks with c-more experience on this board than anywhere else...... Thanks
