  1. When is someone going to make an X-Five heavy contour threaded barrel ?

Go to the SIG website and search for "Voluntary Upgrade" it will take you to a page where you can enter your serial # and it will let you know if your X-Five is eligible for the upgrade. IIRC anything produced after October 2017 is good to go.
  3. Keep in mind it took SIG TWO FRIGGIN YEARS to get the X-Five out to the public from the time they announced the "Target" model.
  4. If you don't like the OEM trigger there are options. The gun was designed specifically for competing in production class.
  5. The X-Five FCU fits standard grip module. If you get an X-Five and HAVE to have the rounded (and or LG or SM circumference Grip Module) you can swap out as needed. Things you get with an X-Five you CAN'T get in an RX: - The longest sight radius available in the P320 line • A heavy barrel contour • A grip weight • A removable mag funnel
  6. Do you shoot @ Elite, Silver Eagle or NRA ?
  7. Others are using as low as 12# springs tuned to their loads. "Riding the slide" can cause any gun not to go into full battery, just slingshot it and you'll have no issues.
  8. Really ? Maybe because it recently got back from Sig. No need to be so aggro smartguy.
  9. I have never gotten a straight answer on what front sight height the Romeo 1 notch is supposed to work with. My assumption was a supressor height front since that is what comes from Sig on the RXs.
  10. If your son is still growing consider a Sig P320. The grip can literally "grow" with him as you can get small, med and large grips without changing anything else on the gun. Despite what you've read about accidental discharges and Sig recalls, most of the new pistols being sold now have been upgraded to eliminate the possibility of NDs.
  11. Roberts posts on his Facebook page if he has wrong or incorrect color combos. Honestly the carbon black outer layer over the tiff blue inner layer is not too noticeable. Of course I got one fo the last Level 2 X-Five holsters he made Orange outer over Pontus Kyptek inner.
  12. If you're NOT to picky about color RHT has this right now >>>> Package (P320 x5 holster, drop and 5 mag pouches) ready to ship immediately. Carbon black with Tiffany blue with drop for a Sig X5. $250 shipped in US.
  13. Here's a few to look at: Aptus Design ITS Slimline Pouch Blue Force Gear Micro Trauma Kit NOW!
  14. My Bladetech set-up is TekLoks with industrial adhesive velcro added. Then I mounted male TMMS to the ekLok with the release tab facing up. I attached the female TMMS to the holster, magpuch, shell caddy. IMHO it's a better setup than ELS since you can freely position your gear where you want on the belt (not limited to the hole spacing of an ELS belt), it's quick change between stages and you can use whichever bely you like, DAA, Bladetech, JRHolster, CR Speed.
  15. Rolex if you're EVER going to run with the Romeo you might want to determine your front sight height relative to teh back-up notch on teh Romeo since that is not adjustable.
  16. E2 or G10 grips are 3.4cm wide

    X-Five

Current X-Five setup: 147gr, ~890fps, 130pf (coated Blue Bullets) 14# Wolff Variable Rate spring Springer Tungsten guiderod Romeo1 GGI PELT falt trigger
  18. The RT-6 is nice with ONE caveat. Even on the brightest setting the dot is not daylight bright. The reticle lines are fine enough for use at all magnifications. The 1X is slightly off though, IMHO it's a little offputting to try and use it with both eyes open. Overall for the price I bought mine for it is a good optic.
  19. w/ a Romeo1 mounted 147gr, 890 fps, 130PF coated lead rounds 14# Variable rate spring (Wolff)
  20. IS this just for the Standard P320 or the X-Fives as well ? If they "voluntary" recall is 100% free I'll send my FCUs and strikers in one at a time.

    P320 X5 Thread

I guess you just read the headline and didn't watch the video for comprehension. X-Fives PASS THE DROP TEST !
  22. Were they using a standard linear rate spring or a curved rate variable ? My understanding of the variable is that for the first portion of the compression it "acts' like a lighter spring, but at the working compressed length it stores the same energy as a standard spring. If I'm interpreting this right the spring is weaker during the first portion of the compression which allows the slide to move back faster. Getting the Romeo1 away from the flight path of the ejected brass, but has enough force when fully compressed to send the slide home.
